Oh my gosh, Nyx! You've outdone yourself here with this chapter in Aiden's story. This made me cry with the amount of anguish and turmoil you portrayed through Aiden's reaction. His desire to find his family with his fear and emotion as well as finding the destruction's aftermath shattered me. It broke my heart for Aiden after seeing (or in this case) hearing his reaction. THAT SCREAM! Are you kidding me, Nyx?!? I'm in tears and pieces after that moment. Seriously, your ability to bring this character to life in different stages of the story still amazes me. I love hearing your storytelling not just through Aiden, but through all your characters. Your range from the gentle to the anguish turmoil really has blossomed over the past couple years and it's awesome to see it! Keep up the amazing work, Nyx! P.S.-I'm not joking when I say this, you deserve to win an Oscar for that scream. I mean, my God. Chef's kiss! P.P.S-you having Aiden sing "You are my Sunshine" on the way was a sweet touch to remember his mother.

This is so heartbreaking and hopeless to imagine this happening in my life. Not just happened to someone I know... This audio reminds me how the fragility and value of peace.
