just revisited the adoption audio and An Idea sparked: in the audio, it was mentioned that they had a forestry stretch of land behind their house, so how about taki goes out to explore, gets lost and hurt in a way that makes him unable to walk/find his way back home? maybe slid down a small ravine, and hides in a small cave between the roots of large trees, mewing pitifully until he's hoarse and exhausted and he's scared and bonus points for more thunder ... i like whump audios
