I don't know if anyone will ever see this, but I just feel kinda lost and alone. This song perfectly captures what I'm feeling right now. No purpose, no goal. This video to me is about disassociation from trauma. Being a child of trauma, missing big chucks of my memories, my life, this video is the closest thing I have found to what it was like. One part of me was walking through a life of violence, and one part of me was someplace else, in a place of peace. I felt like I was all of the people in the video, the man getting beaten, the girl walking in a daze, the boy in 3G trying to hang on for dear life, and feeling like I was broken into pieces. This video I added to my website as the missing years of my life. Thank you for putting this out for me to find. Thank you for speaking about things in which there are no words. It’s hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember

Listening to this for the first time. Tears streaming down my face. Sure, many songs over the years have touched me, but never made me cry. I’m in awe of what they’ve created here.

Sometimes I put this song on and just cry. It doesn't have to be good or bad, it's just nice to release your emotional energy once in a while. It's okay to cry guys. It doesn't make you a weak person.

Please read. This song makes me remember my friends Sheila and Tim. The year I met them was the best year of my life. They showed me understanding and just how much people could care. I'd come from a life of being bullied and abused and put down for 16 years so meeting people who cared as much as they did really turned my life around. Sheila was Tim's mom and the most caring soul you'd have the pleasure of knowing - an angel on earth. We'd sit and talk over coffee for hours at a time. Tim was an incredibly smart person. An iq of around 160..graduated high school at 15 and into college right away. He had a really hard time feeling like he fit in with his peers and people always say that the smartest people do. A couple years after I moved back to Canada, there was talks of him getting into hard drugs. Heroin. I got a message one day a few years ago that he had overdosed and passed away. Just over a year later, Sheila overdosed on pills because she couldn't stand not having her son with her. Before she died, she made me promise that I would tell people about Tim so here I am telling you. So you know the world had these wonderful, beautiful souls that went away far too soon. I don't know you but I love you. Try to be strong. And remember the names Sheila and Timothy.

The last time I listened to this song was with my partner of 9 years in early January. We are no longer together, listening to this song now brings out a different feeling of emotions that I can’t define as either happy or sad, but yet I feel so at peace

This songs holds a really big piece of me, I remember sitting in my room at university at the lowest point of my life, I hadn't unpacked my stuff yet even after 2 weeks and I just sat on my chair and stared at it and cried hysterically when this song came on.

I am ever/never amazed that this wonderful musical masterpiece interlude continues to speak to us as if it were our own personal story.

It has been nearly six years since I lost my mother, and I still feel a deep longing for her presence. My wife and I had been struggling to conceive a child for quite some time, but after four years of her passing, we were blessed with a miracle baby boy. I firmly believe that this miracle was made possible because of my mother's guidance and assistance from beyond. When I listen to this song and watch the accompanying video, I see my mother represented by the blond girl, gently reminding us to be patient and "Wait" for her perfect soul to return amidst the chaos and suffering of the world. She tirelessly worked behind the scenes, an eternity to her but merely four years for us, until finally, our precious son descends from the heavens. As her soul watches from the cliff, surrounded by her spirit animals and the beauty of nature, I am reminded that her spirit continues to live on in this earthly realm. I love you Mom and thank you for our beautiful son.
