Yeah, I hear ya. I needed another Boombox/ Bluetooth speaker like a hole in the head. But I am thrilled to have backed this kickstarter and have a funny feeling I will be purchasing every last one they release. I have purchased all of the arcades to date starting with the centipede unit,all the way on up!! They have all been great usable collectibles and I am happy with every last one of them. @@metsrock15 It does not...I guess they tried to include AM radio, but it wasn't possible. The FM radio plays great!

Oh you will love the mini!!! Originally the blue speaker variant was only to be available to backers of the kickstarter but I guess they had enough left over to make some available for everyone. They are limited though so great choice grabbing one while you can

@@musclecarsusa9269 yeah, they stated that they had to purchase more of the blue speakers in order to make to minimum order quantity that the manufacturer required. So that translated to more Blue variants available for purchase. 👍🏼

I agree about the volume control. Seems like the last 25% of the volume knob travel actually effects the volume level. My other and probably my only other qualm would be the fact that the bass treble and balance knobs are not installed properly. For example if my balance knob is right in the middle that would not be true center balance. I tried gently pulling one off with a needle nose pliers to re install in the correct position, but it wouldn’t budge. I didn’t want to break the knob off so I backed off and decided to live with it. No hiss on my unit. I have used mine all day today for the first time and over all I am still very happy with it. A lot better than I expected. I’m sure they will get better with the next ones coming in the future!!!

My unit also has a very loud hiss unfortunately. New Wave says on the kickstarter page that they are going to release a firmware update soon to add smoother volume adjustment and try to remove/reduce the hiss.

@@TheoryBrown I am sure that this will be addressed in a firmware update. Volume control is mostly only annoying for me if listening to the fm radio, which I don’t do very often nowadays. I use mine primarily as a Bluetooth speaker, so I keep my volume fully open and control it with my phone instead.

Congrats!! You are going to love it. This is only a two speaker system. The tweeters at the top of the bigger speakers do not function

@@musclecarsusa9269 Rats!! .... But yeah. It's certainly a lot more visually attractive than modern "boomboxes!" From what I hear, the M90 Mini has top quality speakers that perform well above their price range, even at retail. Is that about right? How would you say the sound compares to the actual original M90? I'm very eager to receive mine!

I have had a lot of other Bluetooth speakers that I paid way more for that sound just as good. You won’t be disappointed
