In today's episode, we have with us Ma Anand Sheela. extremely humbling to have her on the show, and record this beautiful episode at our space. At age 18, she moved to the United States and attended her education in New Jersey. She returned to India in 1972 to pursue spiritual studies with her husband. They soon became disciples of the Indian guru Rajneesh (OSHO) and Sheela took the name Ma Anand Sheela. She is someone who was firsthand of Bhagawan Rajneesh aka OSHO. She was directly working with OSHO, they left India and established an ashram in the United States, in 1981.
In this episode, Ma Sheela shares her thoughts on the Netflix documentary 'Wild Wild Country', the USA & its government, sexual rights at the ashram, OSHO's teachings, concepts of Polyamory & monogamy, incarnation & so much more.

Nothing deep could find in her words except parroting Osho's words. If you really want to introduce OSHO to the world call Sadhguru Trivir on the show. OSHO shailendra ji and Maa - Osho's brother OSHO siddhartha ji - osho's disciple The real essence of osho you would find talking to them.

Bringing someone, who has admitted that she is not spiritually inclined,to talk about Osho and his teaching is truly appalling. She was only a secretary in the ashram( and did not do a good job as one) , so cannot be a spokesperson for him. Why give her such a wide platform to talk about her own views? A true follower from Pune or former Rajneeshpuram would have done justice to what the watchers were expecting to hear on this show.

Osho books are based on his speeches recorded in Video & Audio. 20:40 She says, Osho books after 1985 are altered. Truth is after 1985, She escaped to Europe with Osho institution's money. So, Osho spoke against Sheela. Sheela is reason for downfall of Osho in Oregan, USA.

Ranveer didn't ask about thalium poisoning in the us jail. That led osho's speech slur in late 80s talk of osho and sheela is covering this with drug abuse and the sunglasses that osho wore after 1985 that she talks is absurd I mean can't someone have freedom to wear sunglasses and she says osho teached to have freedom .

@@sanketpatel5688Since you asked about Vivek. I recall my old memories. 🔴🟢 I read a pdf book in 2014, about Osho's relation with Vivek (Foreign woman). They described Vivek as his girlfriend. They described, she got pregnant with Osho. But, he asked her for abortion. Vivek was mentally disturbed. Later, she became addicted to drugs and committed suicide. Very few only participated in her funeral. I felt really sad for Vivek. Osho is a knowledgeable man, who read many books. Knowledgeable people know about enlightenment (based on others knowledge). But, they also like us. Ordinary human beings with emotions. Osho is great speaker. So, his speeches attracted people looking for knowledge. He had many followers (including foreigners) before Sheela. She later only joined. Sheela joined the Osho organization, not for knowledge or Enlightenment. But to make money with Osho's knowledge. She said this to him, in her first meeting itself. (Later, She cheated Osho & escaped from the USA to Europe with money..) I also read that J.Krishnamurti had an affair with a married English woman, Rosalind Rajagopal. (It was publicly revealed in the 1991 book "Lives in the Shadow with J. Krishnamurti", written by her daughter Radha Rajagopal Sloss.) Read the philosophy books but don't blindly follow Masters or Gurus. Follow scientific rational thoughts useful for practical life.

Osho is a spritual giant 🙏 The body of work by Osho is unbelievable,he has more than 6000 profound Hindi discourses. 4000 English discourses. The detail and profoundness, the oration is so enchanting. His priceless Quality Commentary on Ashtavakra Gita, Bhagvat Gita,Shiv Sutras, Advaita ,Vendat, ADI shankaracharya, Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Gorakhnath, Buddha, many Indian bhakti saints, Bhakti as a whole, lau Tzu,zen and many many many more Gems.. Osho is paradoxical ,he doesn't want our mind to hold on to anything. He has depth of Ocean, heights of Himalayas and vastness of sky. One must listen his Hindi discourses, the quality of Hindi, the depth cannot be matched.🙏. Our opinions doesn't make any difference. I am glad to see so many other direct disciples or indirect disciples through his books , discourses are all here . This makes me happy . The clarity that master Osho brings to the being of a human is unspeakable . I have sat in silence many times listening to him talk about certain things which has shook my deep inner core and I remember laughing loudly once to something he said and that laugh was cosmic because I understood the foolishness of myself and humanity as a whole in his one sentence .Many times he tried to convey things like love , nothingness and realisation in words which is impossible and he also emphasizes that words do not mean anything and that experience is the ultimatum. Master of masters Osho 🙏🙏🙏

All I want to say is, listen more to Osho. Dig deep. She is not able to explain about him in fact no one can. I am not a promoter of osho, I admire his work and understanding of reality. His hindi Podcast of those times(his tapes) explains so much than anyone else could and I listen to everyone, not only him. Love all of your podcast. If you are a seeker or anyone is, listen to Osho. Every aspect covered by him. One might feel like revolting to some of his teaching but will find out deep down that everything said is truth. And yes one thing she said is right, Listen or read to his work before 1985.

If Sex to Superconsciousness (Sambhog se Samadhi) was possible then why did our ancient rishis and munis followed the path of rigorous Sadhna, yamas and niyamas along with strict continence (Bramhacharya)? If this was possible then they could have simply indulged in sex all day long. Is escaping maya so easy? People just need to think a bit before blindly following Osho in the name of spirituality.

I follow Tibetan Buddhism, that's my main spiritual practice however, after reading and listening to Bhagwan, I just can say with my limited understanding that Bhagwan had to come, because before anything game-changing there has to be a chaos and Bhagwan just did that superbly well. He would give you a concept and once you start getting attached to it he will pull the rug of that concept under your feet and in the process your entire life which you had been living will fall apart to grow into a new wholesome being. Now, we Indians don't feel the brunt so much firstly, we have samskaras in our subcon, also we being diverse are naturally chaotic this is the reason why most of the surveys fail to understand Indian choices. We can be very random at times even though now there has been a shift because of our shared western work culture which influences our life. Now the entire west that everything is planned and if people keep changing their lives at such a random scale their entire superstructure will fail and it was affecting them. Bhagwan knew it well and the entire mess (good to some while bad to others) depends on which side you was somewhat predestined.

The documentary and this podcast is biased because of same person who got jealous of the fact that OSHO started giving her less attention. - Run away with the organisation's money - if the person calls you "perfect bit*h" because you betrayed him,say he is on drugs - start narrating your own perception after some years because the other person is dead - "I'm ready to go away at this moment😌"

Im not a follower of Osho but from what I've learned of him, I can definitely say that he was wayy ahead of his time. The controversial topics that he talked about, the ones that us younger generation also try to question, that man was questioning all of that already decades ago. I would never put him at the same place as many other so called 'God's men' cause he was not telling people to blindly follow him or believe all the possibly corrupted things from different religions that were written so long ago and were still being followed to this day even when it seemed wrong. He did the opposite by telling people to use their own brain and understand that religion and spirituality is so much more than what we've been taught. We don't understand how brave he was to question religions like that and speak openly about his views. Despite all that people were gravitated towards him and that speaks volumes. Yes there are many things that we as Indians will not be able digest cause of our culture and that's the reason that he went to America cause their culture was more open minded in that sense. I just think people should read his teachings or hear audios of them on yt before calling him names.

I loved the podcast cuz she was being herself. I dont appreciate the fact that you are discouraging ranveer for letting her speak her mind.
