Yo, I never judged Mase when he went to preach, but he just had a chance to clean up any and every bad perception out there about him and he left this platform looking even more like a hypocrite! You can be do the work of God and talk about you not going to clean your lyrics up, cause when you tried too on Welcome Back you didn't get the reception you wanted. Always remember " friends with the world makes you a enemy of God" & " You can't serve 2 master's"!

That's actually more of a matter of opinion than it is biblical the bible has references to perverse language but the concept is not necessarily vulgar words but anything said that isn't intended to build up, encourage or strengthen one another to help out, and my message is not that cursing isn't wrong but I'm saying is anyone of us perfect I curse in my language at times but that's my real life I'm not trying to be what someone else thinks that I should because at the end of the God understands my heart he knows our relationship, when you want bring people towards the light you have to meet them where they are and relate those messages lessons and concepts in ways they can understand and relate to that's not serving two masters that's understanding that I am an imperfect creature but God still has all power and he can still use me to lead others towards Salvation and that's my only purpose

That's not what he was saying. He was saying that it was the first time he's seen people who were supposed to be gangsta not act gangsta. Biggie and Pac both got shot around hundreds of people (literally) and nobody said a thing! Nobody.. including all those guys that were Biggie's friends that were supposed to be about that gang life.. so Mase was right, when you're approached with the reality of that life and you find out that's not you, you might as well be in Church living it clean.

Most ppl don't have a clue what it is to walk in the shoes of a pastor. It is one of the most difficult walks, task, career, lifestyle to live bc not only do you have to stay pure to yourself and God, but live almost blameless and perfect before everyone to avoid any judgement, ridicule and condemnation from everyone. I use to pastor and it is a blessing but very stressful. Mase didn't say he doesn't believe in God anymore, but a rapper is who he is and how he makes his money, he didn't become a pastor for money, he had plenty before it, and would have had even more at the time but he left when he was hot and messed up his career, but left the game to do what he felt in his heart was right before God. I heard him preach live at a church I use to attend he preachers on point. Stop judging because he made a decision, what ever are the consequences are thats between him and God!

Matthew White The Bible does say that the ones that are Close to God and Christ(esp Pastors) are ones that Satan tries to temp so he can rub it in God's face. The secular people in the world will NOT be tempted even close to a person trying to be Spiritually righteous because Satan already has them. So what is there to really temp in terms of obeying the requirements of the Church. This ideology comes from other faiths as well.
