I Usually don't watch full matches like these, but because of Adam I enjoy it. He Keeps it interesting, between his catchy phrases and subtle unique fun way of game analysis delivery, head to head historical Stats even far back into the 80's and 90's. To say less, he is the best commentator ever.

Fun fact, this commentator is popular in China as people love his passionate voice, we love to compare him to our commentator which usually has a dead and flat tone.

@@rainf8 true, but they don't usually comment on that, they rarely focus on the event and always talk about some tangent stories. They don't focus on the match often. (sorry for poor English)

Just went back to check on the detail, Ma Long was away from competition for too long. World Ranking at 11th and rank 5th in China team and yet comeback as a champion 😮

its silly to me that they talk about retirement at 30 years of age. I started playing table tennis at 38 and I know of a player here in norway that plays quite impressively at 85. also, adam bobrow is a poet.

@@peterwind8101 There is some growth in adult players, fourth and fifth division has never had this many teams, but I am not sure that the sport has grown generally. Almost any kid has tried it though, because its a very popular game ouside of organised sport ... most elementary schools have tables and its pretty common that parks have tables.

Actually, I don't want to see the Chinese monopolize table tennis all the time, which makes the game have not enjoyable to watch. I hope some strong foreign table tennis players can beat the Chinese team in the future, even though I am Chinese.

I kinda know what you mean. The issue is that many countries to not have as many possibilities to support potential Talent. Tabletennis is sadly underrated in too many countries

Ma Longs serves do irk me a little bit. He very consistently throws them the same way so its not inprecision due to the height. The throws are very clearly from the middle towards himself. Especially after Falck got a warning at 41:30 I would expect someone to say something about it

Such a beautiful high calibre game to watch - unfortunately, I had to lower the volume because of the constant irrelevant yapping of the 1st "commentator" - very annoying and disturbing.

Рассмотрим ситуацию с другой стороны. Давайте представим, что Малоша победоносно поднял вверх Ракетку с руками, как символ этого вида спорта!!! С 57:36 это смотрелось БЫ вообще мощно и полезно, с точки зрения благодарности спонсорам и фирме, которые предоставили этот инвентарь!
