One thing people are not mentioning is that he was filming this DURING THE MOST STRESSFUL AND PSYCHOLOGICALLY DRAINING PERIOD OF THIS LIFE WHEN HE WASNT SURE IF HIS FALSELY ATTRIBUTED FATE AS A SA’er OF WOMEN WOULD BE SEALED AND HIS ENTIRE LIFE’S WORK THROWN OUT THE WINDOW. GOD BLESS HIM FOR EVEN PERSEVERING AND SHOWING UP. MANY TIMES I WANDER WHEN JD is autographing if there are any "posted" people within the crowd, to still make money off him.... That's not true. He started filming Jeanne Du Barry in July 2022. The trial was over the end of May 2022. The guilty verdict was read June 1st 2022. He already knew he won.

Evidently Maiwenn didn’t know anything about Johnny Depp before she sought him out. If she was looking for someone to stand on an X on the floor and recite lines as written, she was coming to the wrong man. He creates characters from the bottom up and will change scripts to reflect what he feels his character should say and do. He has said this publicly, not hiding anything about his work method. He even joked about it with David Letterman. I’m sure she’s not the first director that he has argued with in order to portray his character. He stood up to Disney for Capt. Jack Sparrow, and he will continue to work that way. Good for him.

No matter what, everyone’s gonna always have something to say, no matter what. Johnny Depp is his own person and he’s an artist, a musician, an actor, I mean, it’s quite obvious this guy is going to do things differently unlike the rest. He’s been in the business for a long ass time. Johnny Depp is a legend. I mean, I don’t know what people are expecting from him except greatness. She should be happy with the fact that she was actually able to have Johnny as an actor for her low budget film. She should be happy that Johnny is not a pompous ass just like most of half of the actors in Hollywood, I enjoy the fact that Johnny is a humble man yet he is magnificently great, and understands the profession of art. In art , there is no lateness or tardiness. Art cannot be measured by how late or tardy you are… only later pleasured by the finishing product of someone’s greatness that they put all their effort in.

Johnny puts so much into preparing for his screen appearances - which shows in all his work. An actor with such enormous charisma would likely spark some apprehension in the folks who are charged with filming a genius at work. I so admire his acting.....and some....and some more. :)

What does Maïwenn expect to gain by throwing Johnny under the bus? He is the only reason that this film is receiving exposure. As a matter of fact she mentioned in one of her interviews that it “irks” her thst people are asking about Johnny and not asking about the movie or about Jeanne du Barry. I think she wanted the publicity that goes along with Johnny but at some point she resented it and is jealous of the attention he receives.

If she really said these things, the bit about not working with the French coach is rubbish. He had a French teacher with him when he was on tour with Jeff Beck because she was pictured arriving at a concert venue with him. It was also stated in this article that Maiiwen said he wanted to be treated like an icon all the time. That is so far away from how Johnny is! I also think that the word was misused because of her lack of knowledge of the proper words in English! More than likely it was intimidation because she knows that he does his character's perfectly and she has read that he has a large part in deciding what his characters are like. That's called insecurity and fear of communication intimidation is very different than fear but she might have not known that word. In fact I know that many of the words she used were improper for what she meant. Things are so easily misconstrued and this is a whole different language. During con she hung on to him like a parasite almost to where he was visibly uncomfortable. When people were trying to speak to him and he was trying to say thank you she had his hands like they were glued and wouldn't let him move without her she was leaning over the front of him😢 she wanted to be a part of his life so badly so that is not fear. She wanted people to believe that she was worshiped by him. All body language pointed towards this to the point of embarrassment on her part. Also during the making of this movie that was nothing but bragging about how he was working with more than one teacher to make sure he did not have an accent now that it's going to be right before the premiere in the US in theaters on May 2nd suddenly these articles come out to draw a massive attention! No surprise there! Johnny Depp has always been known for making his Parts his own. But he's also known for being kind and courteous to the rest of the cast even bringing gifts and helping them with their parts😂! We all have our flaws he has anxiety which is really not a flaw it's a part of his life which started at the beginning and obviously just recently ended but not because it hasn't left him alone yet😂 there's a crazy person and her paid friends and paparazzi out there making his life as difficult as possible. He has handled it better than most people in real life regular world or Hollywood put together! I don't believe there was any fear I believe that that it is a misunderstanding of the awe of his acting and intimidation of keeping up with what he knows and what he's willing to do to make a part work. He gives up so much of his personal life for his Parts yet look at what was happening to him during this and he still did what he was supposed to do I don't believe he didn't properly learn he wouldn't want that out there! Pure propaganda and at the very least misunderstanding of language on her part and also the media's part from that part of the world. Next thing you know he's in Saudi Arabia and they're practically worshiping him. I believe Johnny did his job and I don't believe that he heard anybody in the process or made them fearful. Possibly intimidated or being the country and would its known for possibly annoyed for having to wait for someone who doesn't speak their language to learn and want perfection! No worries Johnny we love you we've got your back not that you need it❤ we're still here we know the truth we don't listen to the creature that tried to ruin you ! She's the one who can't act can't move on and has the biggest flaws she made the biggest mistake of her life losing him because he is so safe supportive helpful. But nothing is enough for her so she made the mistake of leaving and is now still obsessed. I also again still don't think that this came on by accident just in time for the USA premiere❤😅

America always loved these people were loved by all in Hollywood in so many ways and nobody knew they're a little flaws period we all have them we all have them we're all human I think this is more just sensationalized BS and also a language barrier for the word afraid meaning not knowing if they were capable of communicating and Things That Go On on the set between people whose first language is the same this was two people who don't speak the other person's language fluently. All directors and actors argue to some extent but this woman stuck to him like glue during Khan like it was her husband that had been sewn to her she wanted to be seen with him she wanted to be a part of his life blatantly in public to the point of looking like she owned him and captured him she gave me claustrophobia at times I swear he was going to die and he was nothing but a gentleman even when you could see him having panic attacks which is some of the reason for being late he is prone to panicking. It's quiet it's on his own but it still happens I suffer from the same thing and I'm very much on time but I still make it to places late because I'm having a quiet panic attack❤😢❤😢❤ we love you Johnny and we don't believe any of the BS part of this it's all sensationalism and bulshit

Johnny Depp probably had Narcissistic Victim Syndrome. He was just getting better it doesn’t take 1 month or 1 year to get over it. I had it and was mean for about 2 or 3 years. I kept to myself so as to avoid getting people mad at me. It took me six years to really feel good about life. 😅

I'm listening to you saying he didn't work with his coach yet while the movie was being made they said that he was going out of his way to use an extra coach to not have an accent? I'm very confused at the fact that they said he was practically carrying the person with him! He wanted to not sound like an American speaking French he wanted his heart to be perfect as he always does! During the Khan film festival he looked like he needed a doctor to get this director off of him! She was holding his hand so hard he actually looked like he was going to cry he was so uncomfortable. 😢 he rewrote who Jack Sparrow was and it made that show billions of dollars for Disney! I don't believe that the word afraid is being used properly due to her lack of English words and descriptive words. I believe she means misunderstood and even possibly worried that he could not pull off the French language which they say he didn't show up for his lessons but he had a person with him at one point almost 24/7 speaking so that he would not have an American accent while speaking French! He was going through Court he was playing with one friend in a band another bunch of friends in a band, he was so busy during this time plus normal life whatever that is for him was happening on top of the attacks and the jobs. Remember he has a family also❤ I believe that this is part confusion of language and part some of it being lies where they took words misconstrued and ran with it and turned it into something wicked. You know so many people have been paid to make him look bad by the X non-human that he accidentally married I know he gives anything he does his 100% all. And anybody who's ever done a movie with him becomes his friend. And also he's known for being friendly and polite and caring for the other people on the set so if there's anything it's only a misunderstanding of language or culture.

There is an article out by Variety of all people in which the director clarifies what the Independent maliciously twisted. Shooting a film is stressful and JD was in a really tough period. JD is used to people listening to him when he adds to a project but the director had limited time, her own ideas, etc. Johnny has been late his entire life it is an eccentricity of his.

I love JD and even in the trial his story helped me, but let's be fair... He is far away to be a calm and balanced person. Drug addiction, bad choices, wild friends... It look to me that Maiwenn wasn't satisfied with result end of their relationship. Look on mutual photos with them. Johnny stand there and she is smiling on each photo with him like a moon on poop. They're always talking about him he spends too much money on his clothes it's his money he worked hard for it when he was in court they had to talk about his hair they also talked about him more than two pair of glasses one pair on top of his head any other pair of sunglasses everybody knows Johnny has bad eyesight. Well i guess Europeans are or French are more punctual. Maybe it was something else. Ppl could have been excited to work with him or somebody mentioned that he or she is scared because of..not disappointing him or that they were excited as well as fearful to work with such a famous Person. Who said it and what was the Intention and in which state of Mind did he or she said it? Was it only one? Many Details are missing. Maybe it was a Translation Mistake..happens in the best Movies. One things means something else in a different language..and Expression. Well i guess he wanted to do better but she wanted to do it her Way. They were no best Buddies...it's been told. She didn't want it to be a Hollywood Blockbuster. Maybe their Style of Filmmaking was different. European Movies are less...more Action, more this and that. I also don't know how much of the Movie was just invented and how much were Facts. Hard to say if theis less written Evidence about Du Barrie. Anyways..i like any Kind of old Time Movies. Fiction or Based on real Events. Sure it might has less Attraction but as Stephen King once said..the Story counts, not the teller (of that Story)...I would like to see it..even if it was any other Actor cause it's always interesting to tell a different Story about old Monarchs long gone. I bet she didn't want the Stamp.. a Johnny Depp Movie on it. Wouldn't it be strange if the King would be portrayed as something he is not...just for the $$$ ?

We can easily understand that the team had fears, in the sense that they were anxious, impressed. As for the "conflicts" during the shootings, it is not the first or the last, but we talk more about it in this case because he is Johnny Depp, that’s all. As for the result about the film, for my part, it is very successful aesthetically, but with a lack of dialogues, that has harmed the solidity of the story and the characters. I do not find Johnny Depp very comfortable in this role; he came out of all the years of trial, it may have influenced his "presence" in the film.
