What's up with "ARR is back" comments? Where have you been in recent years? Maamannan is indeed mind blowing and one of his finest creations, but albums like VTK, Iravin Nizhal, PS1 and PS2, Atrangi Re, 99 Songs, Dil Bechara, "Why* - The Musical also have superb music, mind blowing stuff. ARR has been there all along, he isn't "back".

I always wait for new Tamil albums composed by him. I wait for it like nothing else. I always wonder how this man never disappoint us. What a variation in Parai sound from the end part of Kodi Parakkura to The Vaazhvin Osai adhu Parai Osai Bit.....1st song group percussion la vandha magic 4th song la ore bit la kondu vandhutaru namma Isai Puyal......ARR is undoubtedly the king when it comes to scoring music for themes relating to human emotions of suppression, motivation & liberation.....Other music composers are only next to him in that aspect.....Album with real depth in music & lyrics....Yugabharathi was an under utilized lyricist of the Mid 2000s ( 2002-05 or 06 )....really glad to see him get his due ( To write all songs for the movie ).....many lyricists of the late 90s and early 2000s era should get an Opportunity to work with ARR....Could connect a lot to this album emotionally.....Thank you Rahman ji.....

Do you have any doubt about what is meaning of focused work and dedication? Then just turn back and listen to ARR from 1992. This man redefines passion on his work. I lived with his music, I am living with his music and am sure am going to live with his music. If this was 90s, I would have saved my 60 bucks for months and would have gone running to the caseate shop. What a man, thanks ARR for giving us the bliss! Is anyone asking what bliss am talking about? Just ask any ARR fan, they will tell you!

I used to save bus ticket change of 2 rupees daily in an hundi for ARR movie casette purchase. On the way back to home, dailybi visit the casette shop to enquire if rhe album had arrived and feeling disappointed if its not available on the day of release. Sensing a business opportunity, music shop guy started taking pre-order booking at 5 rupees premium. Those were golden days can never come back. With freely online availability, even person with no music sense started critizing sir and it pained me many times if people compares him to another run-of a mill kind music producer (yes i won't call them as composer)

I live in Bangalore and my grandad used to read Anantha vikadan then tell me if a new album was in making, I never understood the timelines of movie making. Sometimes I used to land up in advance by 6 months or more asking for album, the cassette shop guy used to be mad with me that am asking for some unknown stuff! @@gopinathbalakrishnan7390 maybe another angle could be that if he had remained dileep kumar maybe he would've been kept on the same pedestal as raja was kept (but hope this isn't the case) somehow Tamilnadu felt they are obliged to raja even after his prime, also credit has to be given to Maniratnam for bringing the best of both raja and ar and changing the landscape of tamil movie music
