My great grandmother died at 117 and the husband died at 120 something, we calculated the years by events and we never got it right but he was older than the wife. Their diet had no salt at all, they added a bitter green green herb as flavorant and only ate indigenous food. Both died peacefully in their sleep a year apart. They were never sick had no hospital records.they left behind 12 children and great great grandchildren who are also very old. They passed on between 2019 and 2020 in Swaziland

The euro man in the video is more rare, usually euro folks go to these tribes as if they are superior and have to teach the "savage" how to live "civilized", many of the tribal people may not realize that it's actually the other way around, until it's too late and they have adopted euro degenerative cultures, and realized things are way worse than they were when left to their own ways.

I think their health is more about what they are not doing vs what they are doing. Not being exposed to modern industrial toxins, processed foods, etc. Plus, all their meat is pasture raised. I wonder though, is acne usually a thing for them too? I thought they all had flawless skin.

I've seen Maasai though I dont remember their exact tribe, they had long braids but were not Samburu. Anyway they spoke no English they were a gorgeous looking people, I envied them for how great they looked in their half-naked bodies, perfect white teeth, glowing skin, great stamina and NO acne lol. These Maasai already speak good english which means growing exposure to the west. The thing that surprised me was they barely sweat while I was sweating buckets of water lol. They ate VERY simple food, goat meat and milk were ever-present. They ate all of the goat. And they know all the plants around them and what they're good for so they not just meat eaters. Everything natural but the "conservationists" are destroying their way of life pushing them more and more out of their lands and changing their ways, not to protect but to steal their land and resources. The tribesmen are very nice and innocent which makes them easy targets

Tee Tee I actually think that would corrupt them. They have knowledge of all they need to survive off the land and be healthy. Compare them to say other Africans on the continent who were exposed to full blown colonization and gave up tradition for materialism and status. These guys are much better off and doing well. Their counterparts not so much. Colonization actually decivilized groups because it imposed on their way and forced them to adapt to their ways.

rash b You’re extremely incorrect and totally misinformed.Ignorance is bliss..The younger generation Masai men and women prefer to be educated and adapt to a more civilized world.Education is a priority within the Masai millennials..What is up with your irrational ignorant way of thinking to believe these people are better off living of the land without an education.You are foolish to believe that currency is not relevant to the Masai people.Who is gonna pay for hospital bills and other healthcare issues...Do you realize within the Masai community,if a young girl is given the opportunity to education this will lessen her chance at being sold into early child and FGM,which will increase her chance at living and decrease her chance of dying..I know these things bc I was married to a Masai man,and lived among the Masai people for 2 years.
@tiyahisrael

rash b You can’t be serious?What does eating at McDonalds,iPods,modern technology,have to do with these people choosing to be educated,You’re initial statement was that “education would corrupt them,they have all have what they need from the land”..Now you choose to deflect from your initial comment?If you were to tell make a statement like that to a Masai,they would probably spit in your face as a sign of disrespect.How does education,identify them as westerners are denouncing their traditional culture?Culture has nothing do with choosing to be educated as a Masai man or woman.These people are dedicated to their culture.One way to give back to their culture and community is through EDUCATION.You seem to be twisted and have no idea what the Masai culture is all about.Its your own personal misinformed ignorance that cast a dark shadow on the Masai culture and people..
@tiyahisrael
@tiyahisrael 6 жыл бұрын
rash b Furthermore it’s the Masai grandmothers and grandfathers who are encouraging the millennials to get educated.They are realizing the change in Times and how significant and important education is to the Masai culture and community as a way to preserve their land. Do you know that 90% of all camp reserves,and hospitality agencies in the Mara are owned by westerners.This makes up 60% of the Mara’s economy.They exploit young warriors and hired them to entertain the tourist,while paying them substantially low salaries. Living like their grandfathers as herders profits nothing as the world evolves and western business men are generating money on their land through the tourism business.So much for “living off the land” as you eloquently put it.An educated Masai man can do the same if given the opportunity and the revenue to start these types of businesses. Your sarcasm about placing a McDonalds in the middle of the village wouldn’t be such a bad idea.This would really attract the millions of western tourist that visit the Mara every year.Helping to boost the tourism economy within the Mara.Any kind of lucrative establishment as a McDonalds,started by a business-minded educated savvy Masai man or woman,to generate millions of dollars to the village people,would definitely serve as a come up for the community..Why not?This will also help to pay school fees for their children or the next generations of Masai’s.

Why would you want that for them? Wage slaves indebted to universities and banks, working 8 hours a day in doors.
