I am from the serere tribe of the senegambia region and in our traditional belief we also call the ruler of the land Ma‘at. She is blindfolded because justice is unbiased and should not be based on a person's appearance. I absolutely LOVE Kemetic philosophy and Ma’at!! Although I have Caucasian skin, I do believe I have African Egyptian DNA through me, and my spirituality has led me to return to these Virtues & Principals. I personally own a beautiful hand crafted sistrum like the one she is playing! I’m so grateful she did a video on this!
