Kejohanan Bola Keranjang Peringkat Kebangsaan Umur 17 tahun dan ke bawah MABA/MATRIX kali ke-58 Tahun 2024

The 58th MABA/MATRIX 17 & Below National Basketball Championship 2024 has officially held from 25th May to 2nd June at MABA stadium, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
This year 23 Boy Teams for all nation wide participated in the Championship which are :-

3. Kelantan
4. Kedah
5. Kuala Lumpur
6. Melaka
7. Negeri Sembilan
8. Pahang
9. Perak
10. Pulau Pinang
11. Perlis
12. Putrajaya
13. Sabah
14. Sarawak
15. Selangor 1
16. Selangor 2
17. Terengganu
18. Negeri Sembilan 2
19. Penang 2
20. Labuan
21. Melaka 2
22. Putrajaya 2
23. Kuala Lumpur 2
This year, due to enthusiastic respond form all the participating State, there are 23 boys team and 15 girls team registered. Due to the time and date limitation, maximum 20 boys team are allow, therefore after the qualifiying round, Selangor 2 have proceed to the next level and 20 teams been divided into 4 Group with each group consist 5 teams. Selangor 2 has been place in Group D together with another 4 teams which are Kuala Lumpur 1, Kelantan, Pahang and Melaka 1and only the top 2 teams will proceed to the semi final level and the balance 3 teams will be play for the lower placing Game.
Selangor 2 has won 3 games and lost 1 game in Group D and qualified for the Quarter Final Group round which consist of Kedah, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur (Which also qualified for Quarter Final), However Selangor 2 will play with Kedah and Sabah only and the game with Kuala Lumpur will take the result in the Group D game which Selangor 2 already win Kuala Lumpur previously (Advantage for Selangor 2). After winning Kedah and Sabah, Selangor qualified for the Semi Final Game which will face Johor 1. The Semi Final Round was held on 1st June in MABA Stadium, Kuala Lumpur.
Selangor2 loss the Game to Johor1 and will play for the 3rd and 4th Placing Game on 2nd June with Kuala Lumpur1.

Selangor2 loss the Game and Place as no 4th (3rd runner-up) for the Championship, this is the Great achievement as the Selangor Basketball Association SBA target for Selangor2 is to be in Top 8 (quarter Final).
