Soos was initially going to dress as a Teddy Bear -- but good ol' Disney asked Alex to cut it, saying (I sh*t you not) we're concerned this may promote and draw the attention of furries -- yet they were cool with Questiony the Question Mark in all his nearly naked glory.

Their reaction to the Grimlablen's greatest fear was just as priceless as the joke itself lmao!

I'm honestly kind of glad Mabel went off at the end, because while Soos didn't exactly use Mabel's kindness (stuff like that could happen on his best day) Wendy absolutely did. I get that she's a teen and doesn't exactly want to work, but what she did to Mabel deserved the tantrum it got.

And here we have another kids cartoon classic trope; a young character takes over for an adult. It's usually a boring filler episode for most series, but _Gravity Falls_ manages to make it impactful by not just making it about Mabel seeing things from Stan's perspective but also understanding what it takes to run a business successfully. Empowering employees and making sure they're happy at work are great, but it needs to be balanced by holding them responsible for their jobs and making sure their choices aren't going to cost the business and others in the long run. Dipper's ambition to make the Mystery Shack more educational for visitors was well-intentioned, but Mabel allowing him to bring the gremloblin in to show visitors was an extremely bad call for a laundry list of reasons. Stan may be conniving grifter, but he does know how to run a (somewhat) legal business and what his customers want. They come to the Mystery Shack to be entertained by its kitschy attractions, not mentally traumatized by one of the town's many nightmare-inducing horrors.

Also the monster's "You have become your father..." and Mabel's "What have I become!"

Like him or hate him, Stan knows what he's doing.

This is one of my favourite non-plot heavy episodes of the show. And your reaction to the "You've become your father" joke was great!

I just finished the show and as much as it hurts that it only had two seasons, it ended really naturally and that’s what i loved about it.

While not really discussed (in ref to ~21:00), it was hinted at a couple times (i.e. When Dipper said, "Maybe you need to start being a little tougher around here"; When Stan said, "Get to work! Ahem. Please").

Now we have both Mabel and Waddles in the suit! Also the Bottomless Pit is one of my favorites.

It's fun to warch how the show tries to make you think that Mabel is the main character Also, it's hard to make a fan favorite character unlikable without taking them out of character. That was Wendy this episode

Technically, Mabel lost the bet. The bet was that she could make more money than Stan running the Shack HER way instead of Stan's way. And she didn't. Her way lost a bunch of money while Stan made a whole bunch (even if he did lose it all). Mabel only started making money when she stopped running the Shack her way and started running it Stan's way. Thus, she was wrong and lost.

Stan has an enormously hard time saying "please", this is something important to remember
