MAC Eyeshadow Declutter. It's a long one, better settle in with a cup of tea and a crumpet. ;D
Here it is, finally... The first and only time I will ever do a MAC eyeshadow palette declutter. So what's the story on these? I started collecting MAC eyeshadows 6 years ago. It was the first high end makeup I had ever purchased. The KZfaq beauty community was in it's early stages and my love affair with makeup had just begun. It was all new and exciting to me. I was watching Kandee Johnson and other amazing KZfaqrs doing their tutorials with MAC eyeshadows. I'm sure it's sounds ridiculous now, but I remember thinking "I want to use what the professionals are using." I knew nothing about makeup. I mean I tried to look decent with my brown L'Oreal eyeliner and mascara (er uh... I thought it was eyeliner, but one day I looked and realized it was actually a brow pencil, but hey I liked the color lol. ;) Anyway, I was so excited to discover this new hobby, I wanted to learn everything. MAC was the hottest brand on the block back then. The early days of the KZfaq beauty community, was kind of like the golden years, it felt more about the art. I felt really inspired by tutorials and slowly began collecting MAC eyeshadows.
The last time I purchased a MAC eyeshadow was almost 3 years ago. When I first decluttered in 2012, I refused to let go of any. I was very attached to them. So I kept them for 2 more years, to see what I used and what I didn't. Now for the first time, I'm ready to sort through them all and clean out any that I haven't worn within the past year. No product will go to waste, all eyeshadows I let go of, I'm passing onto a family member.
