I wish you would have put the swatches on your arm straight from your finger to get a more true color pay off. Because I know some of those come out way more pigmented and look a lot deeper but the brush applied it so light

Carbon is WAY darker than what it showed on your arm. So is Sketch.

actually, a brush provides a truer colour payoff because that's what you typically use to apply eyeshadow AND blend with! using a brush also gives you an idea of how easy or difficult product is to work with. i've been seeing more of a trend with brush swatches, and now i can see why :) i used to think brush swatches were kinda 'meh' but it's helped me out with picking out eyeshadows & palettes!
