Mac didn't stand a chance in NE. He should have ended up being drafted by the 49ers and would have had it easy in San Francisco. I wish him all the best. Good pickup by the Jags.

I sent Mr Florio a email and said I think the jags should trade for Jones. Lawrence decision making is horrible so hopefully this makes him better.

Corky did well in college because he played on a team packed with talent. The Pats were just an average team, on a higher level, so he sucked.

I think it's more so that Lawrence doesn't drop 4 games in a row hobbling through a high ankle like he did last year.

Fun fact, Mac Jones and Trevor Lawrence have the same amount of 3+ interception games in their career which is 4. I say 3+ because Trevor Lawrence once threw 4 interceptions in a game, Mac Jones has never thrown 4 in a game.

I'd be pissed if I was Lawrence, they should be sticking a vet no.2 behind him like Henne behind Mahomes. Jones is going to believe he can start and his character issues in NE could start a problem they had no need of creating.

Nah, Jones’ mental toughness is shot and he has very little confidence in his play. He knows he’s the backup. If Lawrence gets hurt week 1, he’ll probably look like a deer in headlights initially if he’s thrown into the fire.

Mac has slightly better stats across the board than TL for the last 3 seasons. Maybe the Jags don't want to pay TL's 300 million dollar bag? Maybe, pay Mac 100 million for 4 or 5 years, then pay 200 million to weapons and warriors?

After watching him suck game after game after game after game. It really makes me wonder Who did Mac jones blow to get the media to make so many excuses for his obviously terrible play? I just think, if it was Justin fields, or a Lamar Jackson throwing lollipops to the other team consistently despite having multiple options wide open, would they get this same type of coddling from the media??? Of course not. Look Mac Jones sucks. He may be a good person overall but as an nfl qb he simply cannot cut it!!!

If trevor Lawrence played for the Patriots and belichick, he would have had extremely similar results. Trevor Lawrence isnt nearly as good as many seem to think.
