Mac is truly an underrated guitarist.

This is absolutely beautiful! I’ve seen the videos of Mac playing this and last night I saw him play this in Orlando which was incredible but my friend just sent me Little Martha on a Dobro and the sound from this guitar is just amazing! Heavenly Mac!!!

As with other commenters, I saw Mac play this during a Jimmy Buffet concert. Beautiful interpretation of the song. It’s also masterful display of “playing through the chords” (for the guitar learners out there).

First saw Mac perform this on the Bob and Tom show... Boy, it's been over a decade ago now. The time flies by almost as fast as that exquisite strumming and picking! Beautiful as always.

Just got to see this played live in Albuquerque tuesday night by Mac and it was unreal. He is magic.

I was visualizing a live, healthy Duane being the player of this rendition a few decades beyond 1971. Middle aged Duane, better than ever, doing his composition after years of experience with it. Great playing here by Mac. I just didn't enjoy it becoming a medley with "Dueling Banjos".

Unbelievable version of Little Martha. I have followed you and Jimmy for years and was so sad about his passing I have always really enjoyed your slide guitar. Especially on songs like Wheel Inside the Wheel and many many others.How do you get that fantastic tone? Any pedals or Guitars would help me. I am a bit of a tone junkie and I have only heard a few people get the tone and the playing ability as you do. In my opinion you are in the same company as Ry Cooder, Duane Allman and Derek Trucks. You need to come to California to play..
