Looking back on this team, they had 3 straight VA Players of the Year and 3x 2,000+ point scorers. Mac, Zac Erwin (23) and Bradley Dean (1). Erwin is now starting at Elon and Dean is playing D2 at UVA-Wise. That’s just a ton of talent in such a small town.

Shoots like Steve Alford did at Indiana, attacks the rim like a young Jordan, dishes to open teammates when defense collapses on him. Legitimately gets his head rim level or better with a clear line to the basket. That he chose to play for Pat Ewing shows he wants to be a complete player, he'll certainly be a vastly improved defensive player before he leaves. Watching ball since 1970, this kid is special. With his small town upbringing he's like the second coming of Jerry "Zeke from Cabin Creek" West. I bet if you ask JW about this kid he will prove quite knowledgeable about him.

great jumper, but gonna need good teammates. mac has a few guys that can also attack and shoot, that helps win games. When you're passing no looks and it bounces off your teammates face, not much winning going to happen.
