If you live anywhere near GC you have to pack into that tiny gym (standing room only unless youre there hours in advance) and watch them drop hammers. The gym being so small and so densely packed makes for explosions of sounds when the crowd erupts. Being so close to the court and the gym being so small the rim sounds like thunder when its rattled. Its a chilling experience. You can literally feel it in your body when the place erupts. People are crammed into the bleachers, crammed on the sidelines, crammed into every nook and cranny in the gym and pouring out into the hallways just to catch a glimpse inside the gym. The best experience is when they host a real challenger, like a school 2 or 3 times their size or a rival (GC is a school with 600 or so students that has 2 high level D1 guards on their basketball team). It's a nightmare logistically and you could not even be charged for tickets if you don't get there hours in advance since they can't guarantee you'll be able to get in the gym. If you do get into a seat or find a place to stand it will be a unique experience. It's like watching David vs Goliath if David was a pack of rabid wolves.
