A little bit about how I approach these videos:
I typically don't arrange my covers. Rather, I spend some time learning the tune by ear and/or writing out a chart (just melody and chord symbols). Then, I take a few whacks at playing it in a mostly improvised arrangement. The best take gets edited and uploaded! I also throw in the chord symbols in case anybody finds them useful. These aren't necessarily the exact chords in the original recording, but rather, they're just how I'm choosing to navigate the tune.

How'd you learn to play after chords like this? I want to do it I just don't know exactly where to start. I've been playing for 10 years but always just playing songs from paper and just learning them. I'm really fast at that now (not reading notes though) and I have a really good ear and rhythmic feeling but I don't know how I can combine that with music theory (that I know almost nothing about) the best way
