One thing I’ve noticed is these judges love feeling like their big ego is not contested. If you play “oh I’m not so sure, please tell me how it is” and your dish is decent you get this kind of reaction. If you are confident and your dish is EXCELLENT.. they will criticize it to the smallest detail and run you off. Total bs I wouldn’t rollover for anyone.
