Awesome videos lads. Love your work. The route you took to McAuley hut, is that the standard route or was that back country. I'll be down south with my 2 year old and a small caravan and hoping to see some back country but water crossings will be a push...

Thank for sharing this video. I was searching on the actual route to get to Macauley Hut. Google map only show me bicycle/walking route. I plan to use Bicycle route. I will drive Toyota Land Cruiser (4WD), is this vehicle good to start this adventure journey? Is the river level very deep? Can you give me few advise or suggestion, so I can drive safe in this adventure journey in Christmas this year. Thank you very much

Epic mission. Epic country. Looking at doing a trip down MacKenzie with our off road folding camp trailer. Do you think the old sheep shagga will trag it up to Macaulay Hut?

Thanks mate! Yeah you’ll be ok but it’s a slow bumpy trek in. Check river levels too before hand
