How was it

It came out perfectly, as a student this laptop is perfect. If fits inside my backpack and I can take it everywhere. I am happy with its speed, you can open an astronomical number of windows and it will never slow down. The sound is amazing, better than my phone. My only regret is the price, I bought it before the prices started to drop but I have no regrets ! You get used to it very quickly, I recommend for students or those who don't want to burden themselves with a huge computer. I can run some light video games. The only complaint I would have is that there are no ports other than USB-C so you have to buy an adapter.

Well you could technically edit video with almost any computer - the difference would be if you really want to wait 1 hour for your video to render vs. waiting 5 minutes

@@TechandDesign check out render times for the m1 air. Destroys anything intel based.

I don’t need to check since I have several macs, so I know for experience. by the way the MacBook Pro is also M1 . and yes I do edit videos on this M1 and on an iMac , but the experience on an intel iMac is way better, more smooth and faster. But again - that is to be expected.

@Ayush Singh I hope you're not using a screen protector right now because they can damage the screen when you close the lid. There have been a good amount of cases where the screen protector ended up messing up the retina display.

@@andreaaoolvera The screen protector Apple sells is just a third party accessories and they clearly state that they don't take guarantee for the product (if you're thinking of buying the Belkin TruePrivacy screen protector from Apple Store ). I would suggest you to stay away from screen protectors and just take good care of the laptop. Using them is a considerable risk as people with screen protectors keep having display issues on reddit.
