It took me long enough, but I managed to dust off my footage from my old Nexus 5 phone of my birthday trip to Macchu Picchu. I feel like this is the realest depiction of how the Inca Trail is. Many I've seen glamorizes this experience, and don't focus enough on the real dangers and joys.
Day 2 is known to be the toughest leg of the Inca Trail. I've heard about it so much that I was beginning to dread it. Most people hit the wall on this day. I saw people, cry, throw up and give all along the trail toward the pinnacle that is Dead Woman's Pass. I myself hit a wall and started seeing stars. You'll know exactly when that happens on this video.
