Even with limited screen time you can tell George had great respect for Samuel L. Jackson. From allowing him to choose his color for his lightsaber to having a prominent role on the council, and ultimately having some of the best (albeit brief fights) with Jango and Palpatine. A great leader knows how to cater to the abilities of those they lead and George could give a master class on that. Bravo.

Mace Windu had more screen time in the clone wars show than he did in the prequel trilogy, and that's saying a lot from someone who loves all 3 of the movies

I mean, the Clone Wars show lasted 7 entire season, there is way more screen time to be had there than in a trilogy of movies. For example Mace Windu got more screen time in the series (97 minutes) than Obi-Wan had in the prequels (92 minutes).

Yeah I really think, especially given his lightsaber from and color and legends personality that he should've been more like Samuel L. Jackson: Kind of a rough and unorthodox Jedi with a lot of wisdom and power, but kinda different from other Jedi. They made him too similar to other goody goody wise Jedi masters in my opinion. Either way, still awesome

Mace was to strong of a character to have in anymore series literally he had the most battle experience and had just beat 3 of the strongest Characters in the series in Battle that’s Dooku and Jango both in one battle Dooku retreating Jango Beheaded, palpating fried was also becoming wiser with every Battle and was avoided by almost every enemy in battle

Actually it kinda looks like, that Mace is even better than Yoda cause Mace would have won easy against Sidious if it werent for Anakin... And Yoda kinda lost the fight and was running away after it. But thats just speculation cause i dont know how it influences the strenght of a Sith Lord to have an apprentice or the strenght of a Jedi if so many old companions are dead, futhermore its possible Sidious just held back too turn Anakin to the dark side...

If you watch the Yoda vs Sidous fight you will notice that Sidous doesnt seem to have his light saber in the later half and starts using cheap tricks like keeping his distance and throwing the "senate rings" at him.

I watched this film in theaters. My favorite part was Palpatine's screech from hell spin. (Sadly, I didn't know much about Star Wars at that time. In fact, I didn't actually watch the entire franchise, including the animated series, until 2022). Before watching the entire series from start to finish, my favorite character was Jango Fett. His suit, armor, and jet pack have always been pretty awesome. After watching the entire series, I had high hopes of seeing Ezra become a Canon version of Starkiller under Maul's apprenticeship + the sith artifact.

@@TrippyMoak not sure what you are getting at. Anakin could not be trusted because he is emotionally volatile. His volatility is rooted in his trauma of losing his mother and having no true father figure in life. Which leads to his toxic attachment to Padme. And that's just the personal side of things. On the grand scale, The Jedi council was too dogmatic and narrow sighted to see that they were being manipulated. Their caution combined with Anakin's abrasiveness led them to be wary of him. The entire galaxy is put at odds with each other and adds to the confusion.

Actually it was stated many times that Anakin would have won if Mace and Anakin would have fought. There’s multiple what if fights between the two and Mace never won any of them. The best what if fight is the Episode 3 video game where you fight Mace Windu as Anakin.

I am upset by the fact his total screen time is 10:37 seconds. I'm sure Maul got worst. These two characters were awesome, and did not get the attention in these films. I would like to see them again as in a prequel of this prequel. \ The narrative idea of them surviving their death is cheap and flawed. Specifically Maul, the man fell down the endless pit and split in half on the the way down. I give Windu a 5% chance,but would need a good reason.

Yeah, Windu deserved far more attention, he is the most powerful force user at least in the prequels (the Luke that is now canon doesnt look like the legends one (the badass one) so i would say from the 6 first films, cause Rey is hyped and that). At least Maul got a lot of attention in CW and Rebels, even appearing in Solo, but Windu didnt. And for the being alive odds i would say 0%, he is too powerful to be kept alive without disturbing the canon or killing him in a really disadvantge position like an ambush, cause if Mace would be alive he 100% would go to confront Vader and this time Vader would be killed. All this are suppositions obviusly, disney can surprise us.

Maul just dropped down to a garbage shaft, which means he has a lot of garbage to hold his body while using dark side to survive. Mace Widu fall from the top of the Ecummenopolis, which means the position is at least 100 kilometers from the sea level, and the closest ground is at least multiple dozen levels below with solid concrete and metal ground. His skull will be crushed before he can even use the dark side to survive.

Yes Anakin wont likely beat Palpatine/Mace 1v1 but his force power & especially potential is already extremely high, look what he did on mortis. @@erxishang61 anakin had a long way to go before he reached mace or palpatine level. Lucas never said he was on their level and everyone knows he had the greatest potential but he never reached it only after death .
