You don't need to vent this?? I am running a quote on installing one of these. I've only put in the saniflo but those clearly require a vent.. 🤔

Do you need to tap it to the water pipe line andwhere the liquid waste will go do you have to tap it in which pipe? Just curious this is good in the garage but we havent water or waste line to tap just electricity

Yes you need water and waste water pipes

Is this the Superflo model? Does your pump cycle several times to eliminate waste or just once or twice? Installing ours and surprised at the number of pump cycles per empty.

Yes it is the Superflo. I don't know about the flushing. He didn't have the water turned on when I installed it.

Where is your GFCI receptacle?😮 I’m a plumber, a master plumber and I hope that your vents is going out by itself and not wet vented must be in a dry stack and not a scooter vent.😮 it looks nice and if you use pipe for the discharge line it’s got to be 45s not 90s with a piece of pipe in between each 45 for some reason it works better than a long radius 90 depending on what system you buy also😢

The GFI is by the sink. This model does not need venting, and the instructions say to use two 45s

How was this vented? Did the pump itself need to be vented, or any of the fixtures going into it? Would it work with a wet vented system?

The installation plans show the pipe coming from the sink drain without a p trap and it does not have to be vented. I have not used it yet because the plumbing is not complete, the owner is not in a big hurry to finish. I will get installation instructions from owner and update.

There is a bunch of problems with his installation and according to other stuff Ive read it has to be vented because it pulls air to operate, so you cant use an air admittance valve

What size pipe you use

I used 1 1/2 on the intake. The exit pipe can fit several sizes.
