Every time I listen to MGK speak, I respect him more and more. The man has maturity that a lot of 25 year olds don't. He has a lot of understanding that really shows when he speaks his mind. I can't wait to see him grow even more, I'll be standing behind him and his music.

I love this type of interviews, im sick of hearing questions about dating life or whatever bullshit, let's talk about real things, let's talk about music, about feelings and struggles. Im glad he said all of this, I think he should loosen up and do what makes him happy, balance is everything, keep it real but don't miss out on opportunities, fans come and go, even if you don't sell out some of em will leave you for another artists, some others will get older and be too busy, others will change music style; fans come and go, the most important thing is what you think about yourself. Love you Kells

***** In that case, how do you know how real he is based off of some public appearances you speak of? How personal were the encounters? What were the situations? Was he on drugs? I could go on...There are so many factors that can disprove your comment about him... Trying to figure out how real he is through an interview is as futile as seeing it through your words. You truly dont know him and you know it so stfu.

jan smiths man, that isn't how that happened. If you watch other interviews he clearly states she had someone go to him and say to him that she wanted to talk. He just took and went along with what the universe gave him. if he's happy then why try to say things that ain't true? He cares for his city. He cares for his daughter. He's got a new album popping, I think he's one happy guy.

This man is one of the realest people I know. Growing up not far from him and knowing him before the fame, he is truly an amazing person. He's afraid of the failure and what others from Cleveland will think since normally nothing good happens to people from Cleveland. He got fame WITHOUT RADIO - how many artists can say that??? Of course he would get even bigger if he put his records on the radio but he wants to reach out to those small towns who can related. Keep is up Kells - I love you man! #LandTilIDie

18:00 This is real conversation not about money drugs and all the "Rap" garbage. Some of us make music just because its therapy for ourselves and we know someone else may need to feel like they are not alone. Sometimes it just takes the right emotion to motivate you not to do something stupid. I've had dark times and I put it into my songs just so kids that have or are in that place know that I and many others have made it to the "Other Side"

MGK is about the most real artist with his own style that I have seen in a long time. Who writes about real shit. It really hits home because he is so real. And does not need to go main stream for a fan base. He got his fans on his own just from being so real and true to his fans. Who I actually think he cares about. I fell in love with his music and style from the first song. He had me at hello. Lol There will never be any one like him. I tell my 16 year old son hey yo, you need to check this guy out. He's bad ass lol

Think about that b4 u jump to spew pure sheeyit outta your mouth😕 Those who say such ugly things to others, are only thinking, self defecating on /about themselves. Confident, successful, Intelligent, sincere, loving.. Basically REAL people have no need to even utter such nonsense ... Music is like anything else I this world ... If u don't like, don't look /listen.. There is only one Judge & it ain't you. Those who do will find themselves on the opposite side of the ugly stick..Usually very ALONE . Plz try to treat others as u wish to be... It's the only way .... Believe that 👍 ✌Peace and One LOVE y'all ♥! 😉

Christopher Parks Do your fuckin' homework. Ain't shit missing from Hip-Hop. Artists like Atmosphere, Brother Ali, Cage, R.A. Rugged Man, Time Machine, C Rayz Walz, Eyedea, dem Atlas, Grieves, Murs, and a million other emcees have done this since FOREVER and have never stopped. Before this tool even decided he wanted to rap. The fucker wants to be a rock star but he can't sing for shit, so settled for rap. Just because your ass doesn't know about them doesn't mean they don't exist. Fuckin' tool.
@xxc0pE89xx9 жыл бұрын
And the only one on that list that made any type of real mark not some spiritual miracle whip shit is murs!!!!
@seandaily999 жыл бұрын
Christopher Parks So we'll just ignore the impact RSE had on indie Hip-Hop and just ignore that Atmosphere is headlining Soundset 2015 over J Cole, Ice Cube, Big Sean, Ludacris, Vic Mensa, Dilated Peoples, Logic and Vince Staples. And we'll also forgot that Brother Ali is on the same card and the fact that he's travelling the world, just got back from Mexico. And we'll forget everything Cage did with Shia Lebouf and with Def Jux. Since you know Def Jux was founded by El-P who's been doing this same shit for 20 years plus and who just dropped Rolling Stones Hip-Hop album of the year with Run The Jewels 2 with Killer Mike. We'll forgot the amazing album RA dropped with features from greats like Talib and Masta Ace. We'll forget that C Rayz Walz is a NY legend. Matter of fact, I believe MGK founded Hip-Hop.
@seandaily999 жыл бұрын
Christopher Parks And with that comment you're pretty much saying that you only fuck with music and artists that are popular, because you need that acceptance to feel good about the art. We live in a WORLD that is HUGE, just because you don't fuck with certain artists, doesn't mean they aren't out there and have dedicated fans all over the world. Stop being ignorant. Your initial comment was ignorant, man up and say it.

You can see MGK can't take fame. That's what people tend to fail to see. Everyone want to be famous but you don't understand how many cons come with fame then pro. Like everyone we like the fame, the singing, the clothes and a lot that. I think that's what MGK saw. But when it comes over powerful, more then the human eye can handle, it can destroy you. It can turn you to someone you are not. MGK is the realist artist ever. I will always be his fan. Do what makes you happy man. Life is short. MGK FOREVER

To all the haters saying mgk is depressed. You do know your perception of someone else is truly your own perception of yourself. He speaks from his heart. Whats wrong with that? No one knows what fame brings, good and bad. Personally I feel I would fucking hate it. Trying to upkeep a reputation that the public so eagerly expects of you.Fuck that. I get the impression, yes mgk is fed up of the bullshit associated with fame.That does not mean he is depressed. From studying his music, his life and watching all relevant footage regards him (theres shitloads btw) mgk is truly is humorous, doesnt suffer fools lightly, enjoys what normal a life he has left and is incredibly patriotic when it comes to his home ground. He has no interest in trying to impress the higher archy within the music industry and thats what I love about him. Let the ass lickers run up there labels asses, distort their true personality for media recognition and at the end of all that lose themselves to "fame".

Honestly I don't think his fans would mind one single bit if he released mainstream (Corney shit in hie eyes) then released like a mixtape every year with the shit the fans really want to hear, I think you can go do your side shit, that the mainstream will like, then return back to home with a mixtape for your fans, I don't think your true true fans would mind if you pursued other avenues so you can be more financially secure. Your fans have to understand one thing, If you don't make money, you can't continue releasing music for them, that's basically what it comes down to. Studio time is not free. Also I don't think your fans would want future fans that really need you to be deprived of you and your help strictly because they don't know about you, you have to become mainstream and maybe do a little Corney shit to be able to show yourself to the masses so they can become fans, if that makes sense.

It doesn't hurt to diversify yourself. Like Mariah Carey tried to be more R&B pop when it's like her greatest albums will and always be those iconic Christmas songs. When you're great you're great. There's no denying talent. Sometimes when people change revenues they can still be talented but sound different. I'm not going to dismiss an artists work from before just because they sold out.
