Great interview where Lou reveals some of his feelings about the game of pool. It is easy to see how and why so many people like Lou and Sal obviously gets a lot of his character from his Dad. Both are fine examples of what anyone should strive to be as a pro pool player. Thanks for sharing this video and I hope lots more will take the time to watch it over and over.

Lou is a very likable man. He seems honest and in touch with what is most important in life. I'm talking when he said the part of running a pool hall he enjoys most is being around and communicating with people, the good people I mean. But he was candid and open in this interview. Not a shred of braggadocio or self promotion except for one moment. heh. When asked what he enjoyed most in life and among other things he said selling pools tables, he really enjoys selling and setting up/installing pool tables. But I'll tell you something. If I were very well off and Lou was still around I would absolutely get him to install a 5 x 10 fairly expensive table in my residence. I'm sure he would do a great job but more than that I could milk him for stories from his younger years playing pocket billiards.
