This sawmill is one of the fastest operations I have seen yet. The way the workers were shoving trees into the saw blades is just waiting for an accident to happen, it was just stunning how fast the small trees were shoved into the blade and back and forth. Maybe the film was speed id up, don't know, hard to believe.Wonder what country and people were involved in this production.?

They are. Almost no one really uses them anymore. Bandsaw blades are the most efficient as they only have one singular motion and generate the least waste due to being thinner than circular saw blades for example.
