The equipment available for dairy farmers these days is mind blowing. Back in my early days this type of equipment wasn’t even a thought. The automatic milking machine was amazing! Great video!

I agree you can't. But you can make many tasks easier and more efficient. Which I think is the entire point. That's how we get from bread or food costing half your daily wage to less then 1/10th.

Do the cows ever see day light and go out onto the grass ? We are farmers on a smaller way smaller scale and our cows always have amazing grass to eat out in the paddocks, lots of trees for shelter and fresh spring water . Their coats are shiny and just amazing , nothing beats seeing your beautiful cows out in the paddocks getting vitamin D on real grass. Thanks for the video .

Agreed. How many people watch this video & see that, yes, the automation is really cool, but the straw on the beds is a better food class than the fine shreds & sawdust those cows are being fed? Wild how we cannot figure out why people are constantly sick.

Awesome for sure, but just remember that these high tech machines are not affordable to the majority of the small dairy farmers producing the majority of the milk you drink!

governments around the world should invest in new technology that can improve output and overall efficiency to drive down prices by increasing supply instead of giving buyers money to buy stuffs. The latter is quick and fast but the effect is only temporary. The former has a longer lasting effect

In Saudi Arabia, we have large companies that produce milk products so they can afford these machines no problems. The quality is also world class I’m glad that I don’t buy products from individual farmers becuase the low quality control measures.

Был на практике в Германии. Там реально есть такие комплексы. Их не много, есть и с менее продвинутой техникой. Но чистота на мелькштандах всегда.

I think every adult should know how much it costs to buy these products then realize that it'll be unsupported by the company in a few years, and if anything breaks they will not fix it or will demand it be brought in for repairs by their mechanics instead of selling the part to the farmer.

@@callmemoha not all but approximately 80% are nothing more than money. My papaw raised pigs when I was a kid and he was not a loving papaw so you can figure out how he treated his livestock. I see nothing wrong in slaughtering animals for consumption if done in a humane manner.

A farmer I my area installed a pressure washer system in his barn. He mixed warm water with an organic cleanser and it would go off for every 8 hours. Sprays were throughout the barn at one inches off the floor and the floor had a small slope to have everything drain into a cess pool. It was so much better for his cows health.

Sadly the population is growing and we have mouths to feed. So we will need people willing to have farms and give loving touch to the cattle. This can become difficult with large cattle volume.

We usually just left ours out there and curculate paddocks so they don't eat it all. Then brig them to the milking shed I heard concrete isn't good for cows to stand on.

Yes. I saw a giant milking carousel. The cows line up, step into an individual cell on the carousel, get milked, then step off the carousel all on their own. Very unbelievably orderly.

I remember moving cow feed with a shovel and wheelbarrow for the main barn and just a pair of buckets for the outdoor feed area as a kid. How times have changed... but it still smells the same.

Удивляет только одно, почему это не наши технологии? Неужели бы и мы так не додумались? Просто видимо кому то у нас не выгодно, чтобы деревни и сельхозяства развивались.

Спецтехника стоит колоссальных денег. Чтобы такую ферму оборудовать нужны дотации и долгосрочные кредиты с небольшим процентом. Все банально упирается в бабки

Удивляет количество ДИВАННЫХ ФЕРМЕРОВ, кто фермером никогда не был и не знает темы. Зато "всёпропало" включено на максимум. Эта техника стоит как 100 коров. И нафига она эта техника? Для лени? А чинить кому? Опять огромные траты? Все любят картинки смотреть и радоваться чужому, в чём сами ни разу не участвовали. Мне приходилось, я тему лично видел. С уверенностью заявляю, что тракторы, тележки к ним, комбайны и экскаваторы, техника реальная, нужная.А "это" это когда деньги некуда деть. Особенно последняя машина на видео, не убирает, а тупо размазывает.
