Very nice flaking on that cross slide. I have the exact same model woth a QCGB but i have a multifix AA instead of the standard tool holder

Nicely done. I bought one of those yew bewt " 58 piece milling drilling clamping kits " from flea bay. I then found only about 6 of those bits get regularly used, and I could do with a lot more of those 6 bits, so promptly had to make them!!

Nice Job... BUT Why ? Without knowing your reasons for machining this I don't understand why not just use a coach bolt. Many hardware shops sell these very cheep, much cheaper than the bar you turned down ! All that's needed is to use angle grinder to grind the flats, or a hack saw and file for that matter. Even threaded bar and some 'nuts' welded on would do ! So why invest this much time ?

Live centre?? It's a running (or rotating) dead centre! live centres are always at the headstock end. Sorry to criticise but it is a pet hate of mine to use US terms when we have perfectly good UK ones. Keep up the good work, your videos are good.
