Machining mark and honing mark are different. Not Same.
During Scavenge Space Inspection, need to inspect the condition of marks on cylinder liner.
Purpose of machining or honing marks on cylinder liner is to hold cylinder lubricant. Not easy to flow downward.
By holding cylinder oil on liner for a certain period of time, wear rate between liner and rings can be reduced.
