I swear this album gets longer and longer every time I search for it

I was in the middle of a manic episode once, this didn’t help but it is a good album.

Most people just see this as some funny or annoying meme, but when you actually listen you find out this album is an experience, one of them things that sound like you’re on a journey.

fuck it, im going to mcdonalds at 2 am, ordering a quarter pounder w/ cheese, 10 piece nugget, honey mustard, and medium fries and then going to the gas station to get a arizona green tea. then i'll listen to the album on my couch with this playing while i watch old reruns of Fresh Prince. Thats how you enjoy this music properly.

this album is just better than any vapor wave album ever. every single vapor wave album is just slowed down oldies with reverb and delay, but this was cut, re organized, re arranged, and added elements so beautifully, the choice of samples and parts of samples to use and where theyre used is so genius and unique, this album is the most known for a reason even tho most people just say its overhyped, its a masterpiece

1:52 tar baby always gets me

I truly think the first song is the best of the album. I find myself often singing or humming the words, however few there actually are.

I know we all talk about vaporwave making us feel nostalgic for a time of our lives that we never really lived or experienced but now when I listen to this album, I get genuinely nostalgic for 2015, the year that I was obsessed with vaporwave and listened to this album on my old little ipod nano almost every day. I was still in high school and was living some of the best and most fondly remembered moments of my life and didn't even know it :') so much more innocence and wonder for the world. When I listen to this, it nurtures my 'child self' and comforts me so much. Although I now realise how unsettling the music really is in nature. At the time I was just edgy and thought this was the shit. It still slaps, but it gives me an oddly unsettling feeling in this day and age, where an end and collapse in our conceivable civilisation feels even more possible and in fact inevitable than it did in 2015.... Maybe I just didn't see it, but I have a feeling even the nostalgic cynicism of the vaporwave pioneers could never really conceive of the world we live in today, and how relevant and perfect a soundtrack these albums would become to the crumbling comforts of the 'old world' in this year of 2021. 'There's nobody here' feels more like a ghost whisper of humanity into a post-mass extinction event than anybody's gleefully naive minds would have imagined in 2009.

If I was to own a shop, this whole playlist would play on loop, 24/7.

I want to listen to this album while peaking on LSD-25 on a west facing penthouse balcony at sunset in NYC in 1986 while my limo driver waits patiently for me down in front of the lobby.

I think what sets this apart form other vaporwave is not only how unique and meticulously arranged and chopped it is, but the entire thing is *coherent*. It flows. It never stops feeling good to nod your head to and never becomes difficult to understand or stick with. Years of vaporwave and it's progression have seen this album continue to shine as arguably the best vaporwave project of all time.

odd. hidden pathway, sky nouveau, and lady were never on the original album, unless you count the fan made floral shoppe 2. zone was actually part of the same compilation, but i guess vektroid originally wanted it to be included when floral shoppe was made into a vinyl format.

Can someone clear up the confusion over 外ギン AVIATION and 待機 for me? I've seen multiple comments saying how the titles are wrong on physical releases because of a misprint, but I can't find any evidence of this misprint online and the Bandcamp release says 外ギン AVIATION should be the other way around. I'm trying to label my personal vinyl rip of this song and it's very difficult.
