This is the FULL version of Mackenzie Phillips song "Love Is Broken" from Disney's So Weird.
A whimsical being is what I've always been, lurking far deeper than just here within. These numbers held hostage by forces unseen, no longer to doth, the light must be seen. these songs are SO underrated!! So Weird had the BEST music out of any disney channel show I swear. They had a great writer and a GREAT singer.

Damn, the guitar solo though? Honestly, as a 30 something year old woman I am not ashamed to say this show and it’s incredible music and message stayed with me to this day. There is a reason for the little cult following it has. Deep..deep af. Maturity.

@@englishatheart I guess there were a couple good episodes in Season 3, but yeah... the whole tone of the show changed. I'm guessing it's the reason why this episode feel like an ending. Even more so than the actual final episode.

Used to love So Weird as a kid. Was hyped when I saw they had it on Disney+, but super disappointed they didn't have the 2nd season at first, but then they finally added it, and I finally got through it and WOW it hits hard. Such an amazing show. Wish they'd kept going with Fi's storyline. This hit hard. Thanks for uploading these songs.

They WANTED to, but as I recall Cara DeLiza (Fi) wanted to move on to other things... Sadly I think her career ended shortly after that.

Her story didn't end with this show. Her spirit moved on the to TV series Burn Notice. To start a Romantic relationship with Michael.

I think this is the saddest song I've ever heard, only because I know the characters and context of the song within the show. Molly and Rick's love is so heartbreaking. Even more heartbreaking that the original season 3 plans never got made. Rick was supposed to come back from the dead to live the rest of his life with Molly. 😭

As a adult this song hits close to home. I always loved her music as a child growing up to the show. Now 20 something years later these songs have a whole new meaning to me. Thank you for adding clearer versions of these songs.

This song is so powerful an emtional. I like to hear songs and figure out their meaning I think this song talks about loss and grief but also acceptence after a loss, When sings your breath is still on my lips your touch is still on my finger tips gifts i will never give you and life i will never live with you. You can feel that she is talking about the heavyness and sadness from when you love someone you love. But towards the end when she says she is leaving on the hallway light and there is no need to say good night the moment you go away I will become a ghost it means that even though the person who passed away is no longer with her she can accept the loss and knows atleast in spirit that the person will always be with her. Its only when you think your deceased loved one is truely gone over that you will become a ghost or I think of it as you will feel very empty.

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This is my favorite song of So Weird and I wanted a version of it without dialogues so badly. I searched in many sites, videos years ago but I couldn't find it and then I saddly gave up, thinking that a version like that didn't exist. Now I discover a version with no dialogues with 7 min run and I can listen to it finally! Thank you again!

I love all the so weird songs. Disney had a deeper meaning and impact back then than the garbage they have now. I haven't heard these songs in over 14 or 16 years but still remember the words!

This tragic song makes my cry, the best one by far. Such an underrated and beautifully done show. I'm still upset that a soundtrack of all Mackenzie Phillips' great music was never released because this was such a shining moment of her career. I miss it. Innocent times.

Simpler times indeed. When I was in 1st, 2nd and part of 3rd grade 1999-2001 ... I used to get home on Friday nights and be absolutely ecstatic about the new episode of So Weird. I think it is also fair to mention that I had a major crush on Fiona played by Cara Delizia, as much as a 7-8 year old boy could have. Probably one of the first in my life actually. I was really sad when she left the show and did not like it at all with Alex Johnson and gradually kind of let it go over the 3rd season. I actually lost interest before ever seeing the last episode, its pity I didn't finish what I had started. Disney Channel back then was a major part of my childhood and seeing some of the old DCOMS and DCOS really take me back to that era and the people I was surrounded with at school etc.

@@macree01 Same here, well other than the crush part. :) I loved So Weird and always looked forward to it and was also not a big fan of the 3rd season. I did like the songs of that season though and the black panther spirit guide.

@@SolitaryGrayWolf LOL funny story about that panther, it had the exact opposite effect on me as it was supposed to have. Every time I woke up in the middle of the night I was always scared that there was going to be some creepy panther at the foot of my bed staring into my soul. I was never a huge fan of the music of So Weird, I liked the main theme song as much as anyone could but never got into the whole speil of using the show to promote Mollys songs. I just really liked Fiona and Jack a lot, Clu was pretty cool too. Always liked Eric Von Detten ever since I first saw the DCOM about rollerblading back in the day. Ned had his moments as well. A few years ago (2015) I went through a huge nostalgia phase and rewatched pretty much every episode of the 1st-2nd series and holy moley , it has not aged well at all. I still hold a special place in my heart for it but it definitely has the 1999 Disney Channel vibe big time. As for Cara Delizia (please dont call me a fb stalker) .... she is just a regular stay at home mom now who lives in LA ... goes by Cara Delizia Rich. I actually was just curious if she ever did anything else after So Weird but she pretty much retired as far as I can see. This led to me actually finding her profile on FB, but I never did much beyond that. Its funny to look back at when I was a kid watching this show, I assumed that all of the actors were going to or already were extremely succesful actors. Out of the whole cast I think only Eric Von Detten still does stuff, and poor Mackenzie Phillips ... her life is an extremely sad story and I get the vibe that this show was maybe one of the few things that kept her sane for a while. Thats not even the saddest though. I didnt figure out until years after the fact that Lee Thompson Young (THE famous jett jackson) committed suicide. Im telling ya, some kind of curse around disney channel original shows from the late 90s-early 00s.

@@macree01 I totally forgot about Ned, I liked him as well and Clu, loved Brink! Yeah, I heard about Lee Thompson Young, sad to find out about that. :( It's cool that Cara was able to live the life she wanted though and not have media hound her when she just wanted to be a mom.

@@SolitaryGrayWolf Yes, it was sort of bittersweet to find her profile. In a very weird way its like finding out one of your old crushes has moved on, but they have found a happy life in the process. Now, I never actually had any delusions about meeting Cara Delizia in real life but I was sort of sad that she was no longer a personality on TV, but I am happy that in that process she found a happy life with her family. Anyways, its been a pleasure talking about So Weird ... over the last 3 years Ive connected with a lot of people talking about disney channel shows and original movies from this timeframe. I had a rough time in early elemntary school and the zoog disney era is really one of the few things that kept me happy during that period. So Weird, The Famous Jett Jackson, the Jersey and movies like Smart House, The Luck of the Irish, Zenon, Tru Confessions, etc... Good times. Heard the full version for the first time today and it was so emotional for me. The song is still just as powerful as it is in the episode. I had taped all the episodes from Disney Channel and hooked up a minidisc recorder to my vcr to make an album. It was the best I could do. The full songs without dialog can't be beat, so thanks a million.
