Hey Michael, It's not so much about weight as it is the construction and shape/thickness. For a heavy rider, I would not suggest the Dwarfcraft for dock starting. It will make stress cracks over time and eventually break. I'd suggest something a bit thicker with more vertical rail in the shape for more durability longterm. My current favorites are the Appletree Micro and KT Wake. -Tucker

Hey Barry, I agree. I would have loved to test all three but the reality is, Slingshot only sent me the 100 to demo and the rest were headed out to customers with pre-orders. Basically, same board, slightly longer. The 110 is far more similar to the old Dwarf Micro which is 107cm, so plenty of info out there on that one. 120 is a really nice large guy board or step down for someone used to a larger board. -Tucker

Great questions. All awesome boards and reasons to choose each. It's more subtle than other choices I think and a lot of it has to do with budget, durability needs. The Dwarf is a premium board with moderate weight and high durability comparative to the ultralight options like Moses, Tray, Kanaha. The Pocket is a super durable board as well but has that cap construction seam on the edge that is vulnerable. My two faves in terms of pocket boards are the Dwarf, Naish, and Appletree. The weight change is minimal but these boards last for years and that's why I like them best. -Tucker
