I’ll never get over Mac’s death and I’m weirdly okay with that. It still feels like I lost a homie. I just wanted to see him keep evolving and create more amazing music. That last frame where he appears smiling. Man. I miss you Mac. Thank you for all your art. Faces deserves to be loved by everyone.

He’d be 30 today. It still feels weird. I’m so thankful for macs team and family. They did and are doing exactly what everybody wants. I can’t imagine the emotions they feel going through his archives, but with every dig comes more reasons as to why he lifted up and saved so many people. Music is the strongest language. Macs music is almost cryptic. Nobody hates it, but some people don’t understand it. The ones who do really grasp it. Faces is still the best collection of songs in this modern era. Atleast in my humble opinion

I genuinely think years from now people will look at FACES as one of those legendary albums. Right up there with the classics. Like our kids or even grandkids will totally have that cover as a poster in their room lol. I just imagine a group full of teens smoking weed listening to FACES the same way kids listened to Pink Floyd, Led Zepp, Nas, etc.

My soul longs for more Mac Miller... As if he didn't already leave us with so many levels of amazing masterpieces throughout the years. I simply will never be able to get enough of his artistry and energy and will always crave more. He was a once in a lifetime talent. We even share the same birthday. I'm grateful that him and his music means so much to so many people. I wish he were here to absorb all of the love. In some way, shape, or form he still is. I want to stop by that house where he produced and filmed soon. It's only a couple exits away. It meant so much to him - Maybe there's a bit of his energy left in that canyon.

I loved The Red Room, As dark as it got, it felt like mac spoke the most honest and relatable on all the songs whitin faces. Without the red room we wouldnt have Larry Fisherman, and watching movies and facs hit me really close to home. The ups and downs that come with being a real artist. Rest Easy Mac Miller. We all miss you down here, I hope the grass is greener on the other side. God Speed.

Iconic doesn’t even begin to encompass all that this album and all that Mac was/is. One of the brightest minds in the industry with so much compassion and desire. Mac is the reason I decided to pursue rap and producing. I don’t expect much to come of it financially, but it has been an incredibly freeing experience to make music and have other people tell you they enjoyed it. Faces is one of my favorite albums of all time. RIP Mac, 92 to infinity ❤️

How is this not the most viewed video on the channel?!? Faces literally changed my life, when I first heard it I was literally living in a storage unit getting high off my ass every day, now I have an awesome job, an amazing girl, and my family is back in my life. I would have never got to this point if I didn’t listen to the deeper meaning and find truth and relate to his words on another level. Faces made me realize that I had to learn to be okay with myself and realize that there are so many people around me that really care and life is not all about making money and material possessions, but it is about the life you put into the years not the years you put into life. So thank you Mac, I just celebrated 2 years sober and I really accredit it to being able to connect to you through FACES

Still remember the weekend, hanging out with my best friend in his hometown, he showed me 'San Francisco' from faces, and the rest was set in stone that night, I knew this was Mac's TRUE gift to us (even before he passed) - just so much raw talent in an album he literally had no monetary value attached to - Truly, a legend gone way too soon. This project has helped me stay above water so much. I should've died already & I put a lot of reasons why I haven't on Mac & his music. Watching him & his friends talk about his connection to music & what it meant for him remind me of similar feelings I've felt throughout my late adolescence and young adulthood. It's not the best thing & it can get pretty agonizing sometimes but musicians like Mac make it easier on a day to day basis. Thank you, Mr & Mrs. McCormick, for sharing this to the world on wider scale as it should be. Thank you, Mac, for being you.

The pain I feel remembering a man I NEVER knew outside of the words he gifted us in his music is what reminds me not to leave this world. It sounds very "High school drama" to say it like that but it's the way I feel. It's not just Mac, it's all the artists and people I look up to. I remember and I think "If it hurts this bad while never having known the man, how must it feel to those who did know him." And so, I cannot leave this world because there are people who know me.

Fuck, every time I read a comment section on any Mac video I end up in tears, it's so beautiful to see that he meant as much to so many people as he did to me, I related to him so much ever since I was a stoner kid in highscool when he was still underground before even K.I.D.S dropped, it felt like we we're growing up together because as I got older and was struggling to cope with life, mental health and drug addiction I could hear in his music that he was going through the exact same shit, I can honestly say that it was a few stand out lines across albums from delusional thomas to faces to his more recent work that actually helped me finally get off drugs because I could hear how he was in a way predicting the inevitable as he understood where his problems qith addiction would lead. I am now older than him and it hurts every day that i'm still here due a large part to him and he's gone, it feels so wrong and just unfair that him writing about his problems with drugs helped me to finally get sober only to have him pass away from an overdose only months after I finally got clean. However depressed I was when he passed I never relapsed and I feel like that was only because I felt like it would've been an insult to his memory to start using again, I watch the NPR concert at least once a day and always cry at the end listening to the beautiful live version of 2009. One of the most honest, meaningful and poignant works he ever blessed us with in my opinion, however it makes me cry everytime now as it feels like his goodbye. I'll miss you forever Malcolm, thank you for saving my life and no doubt the lives of countless others, you will live on in all of our hearts forever, Rest Easy Mac, i'll see ya soon 🖤😓🖤

Words can’t explain the love I have for his music. Sure it got people through bad times, but overall Mac had a different sound and tone during Faces. He bared himself and exposed his mind and feelings to us. Before this and before wmwtso it felt as if he was trying to impress the fam based whereas on faces and forward he found himself. Many people may think he should’ve been helped and this and that, but i truly believe that if you asked Mac how he’s want to die, he’d describe his actual fate. He foretold his fate many times during his music but I believe that he didn’t do anything about it because he was content with it. At least that’s how I feel. Rest Easy my boy. I’ve been rocking with you since I was 12. I’m 22 these days and have never been more appreciative of an artist like yourself. Thank you for it all.
