🪡 Materials You'll Need:
- Yarn: I'm using 0.8mm flat cords (around 16m total) you can choose any size you prefer: 0.5mm, 0.8mm, or 1mm.
- Brass beads 1mm,2.5mm,3mm,7mm
- Cabochon stone with groove
- A lighter
- Scissors

My macramé journey began in 2015 during my first trip to India. In the vibrant streets of Delhi, I stumbled upon a small workshop, igniting my lifelong love for this intricate craft.
6 months later In 2016, Malka Macramé was born, I created exquisite pieces for studios in Denmark and Norway and individual clients around the world. Over time, my venture grew, supplying quality macramé materials to artists in over 50 countries, both in retail and wholesale and I couldn't find time for making macrame as before.
Amid the challenges of growth, the COVID-19 pandemic provided an unexpected opportunity to rediscover my passion. It became a source of solace and meditation, much like it has for countless other artists over the years.
In late 2022, despite thriving in the macramé world, I chose to discontinue selling supplies and materials. This decision was driven by my focus on studying, motherhood, and living far from India. This hiatus rekindled my energy and passion for macramé, motivating me to create and share my knowledge once more.
Throughout this journey, one quote by Neil Gaiman has remained my guiding light: "The world always seems brighter when you have just created something that wasn't there before." I'm wholeheartedly committed to sharing my macramé expertise and supporting the community.
