I always learn something new about nature, when you go out withJP. He’s always very informative about the things you see out in the countryside. It turns out to be something of a learning experience for me,and many other viewers ,no doubt. It’s true what they say, every day is a school day! I know you’ve to be careful what wild mushrooms, you pick, for eating,as several are poisonous. I learned a bit from JP, about them too. Thanks for this interesting and informative vlog.😃✋

Dan, The fly after the Green bottle is a flesh fly. The Blue butterfly is a Holly Blue easily confused with the small blue. The butterflies which have a important relationship with ants is the Large blue and the Silver Studded blue. JP is a living Encyclopaedia, realy enjoyed it.

Hi Dan, trie the hazelnuts 3..4 weeks later you'll be amazed. Keep in mind the hazelnuts you can buy for christmas are at least one year old. Fresh from the tree they taste delicious. Great knowledge there with J.P. ;-)

great stuff ,jp is an interesting bloke ,could spend hours talking to him ,just one slight thing wrong though ! dont hold your breath on a camera or gun shot !let your breath out and you will notice a slight lull before you take a breath in again, thats when you are at your stillest and the time to take the shot ,not on the in breath but at the pause at the end of the out breath and the in breath, never the less great informative entertaining clip

You two would make Great Cartoon Characters. I am a filmmaker/producer for SyFy Channel, Animal Planet, Discovery, Comedy Central, and other companies. I have 27 features and dozens of Cable TV segments rolling around in the media-ether. What do yo think about teaming up? I see a half hour animation series trapped someplace in between - "Bill Nye the Science Guy," - "Naked & Afraid," - and "Rick and Morty". We would have to use your voices because they are so unexpected, extreme, and captivating. It's like Pygmalion meets Neil deGrasse Tyson. You two get stuck in inhospitable locations with nothing but your wits to help you to survive - foraging the oddest things and communing with plants and animals, while being hunted down the forces of nature, and an array of online fans that won't even let you piss behind a tree without posting it. We would actually video record your adventures and them animate the footage, souping it up at every opportunity. But the cartoon would have to be what's Really Happening to YOU. What do you both think?
