A perspective on War
Speech by Charlie Chaplin - The Great Dictator
Wars were part of our lives since the dawn of men, in this short video I used macro photography techniques to show a deeper and closer perspective of kids “toy soldiers” and reveal their sad and true meaning.

This speech made me rethink my life a couple of months ago, it has changed me as a person, I give help and hope to people at my school, I have helped 3 bullies become sweet caring people with the insight I obtained from speech. It’s made me realize that no one in existence truly hates we humans want to care to love and help on another, sadly because of the demands of life we often forget this, and if you know someone who is rude or a bully trust me they are sweet at heart and just need to talk and need some insight, speak to them and try to get them help, and truly only the unnatural hate the world.

To those who can hear me, I say - do not despair. The misery that is now upon us is but the passing of greed - the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress. The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took from the people will return to the people. And so long as men die, liberty will never perish. ... Soldiers! don't give yourselves to brutes - men who despise you - enslave you - who regiment your lives - tell you what to do - what to think and what to feel! Who drill you - diet you - treat you like cattle, use you as cannon fodder. Don't give yourselves to these unnatural men - machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle! You are men! You have the love of humanity in your hearts! You don't hate! Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural! Soldiers! Don't fight for slavery! Fight for liberty! In the 17th Chapter of St Luke it is written: "the Kingdom of God is within man" - not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you! You, the people have the power - the power to create machines. The power to create happiness! You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure. Then - in the name of democracy - let us use that power - let us all unite.

That is the problem with todays world, no one knows what's absurd, they cannot distinguish right from wrong, they cannot tell what is good or evil, they believe that what their belief is right, simply because other people they know encourage it, and because it was taught to them, and they never questioned it. If we want to remain free and happy and be a bold people, we must have a foundation, we must have a rock to stand on and say THIS is the way it is done, THIS is how life is and THIS is how it should be lived, with the ability to choose for ones self, to be responsible for ones self AND for others! As a American I look to my countries foundation, and that IS the Bible, my countries original foundation is not some mans belief, not something created up cause it sounded good, but my countries foundation is the Bible, the written word of God. @@cookiecracker2 exactly 💯 My firm foundation and solid rock on which I base my beliefs and moral compass is the way of Christ Jesus. Not the false teachings popularized which the world accepts, but the true way of Jesus and God our Father. Love others, do not seek revenge, do not harbor mallace, seek justice for others love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. This is the way, walk in it.
