"Runner" has 3 versions. 1 Oyaji version- TV Series Ending song 2. Lynn Minmay version(Iijima Mari) - TV Final Episode Ending song 3. Duet Version-Macross Flashback Ending song

The only complete version I have heard up to this moment is this one: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jJdof9WCs868Z2w.html It was uploaded by someone. I think he/she capture it from the original TV series. It is an official unreleased version and not found on any CD. The problem is that the audio quality is too bad that I cannot do anything to modify/edit/improve/mix the original audio part at this moment.🙄

Macross sempre exerceu sobre mim um encanto peculiar desde a primeira vez em que assisti Minmei cantar para Hikaru. O romance possui todas características possíveis para se tornar entediante, porém a forma como a trama avança é natural, forte e complexa. Muitos não percebem, mas Minmei é iludida e abusada emocionalmente pela indústria musical ao ponto de perder o prazer em cantar. Quando percebe sua vida desperciçada ela tenta recuperar o tempo e voltar aos braços de Hikaku, mas percebe que a distância erguida por ela entre eles é muito grande e tudo graças as escolhas dela. Ao perceber isso ela olha com satisfação para o passado e o que sua musica realizou no coração das pessoas e chega a hora dela curar o próprio coração ironicamente através de sua música. Com sua música carrega as lembranças de suas dores, a saudade de seus sorrisos e a ternura por saber, graças ao tempo com Hikaru nos últimos episódios, que seu amor foi REAL e poderia ter sido vivido caso as escolhas fossem diferentes, mas não foram, e ela está bem com isso. É triste, muito triste pois é real demais. Todos temos um pouco da gentil Minmei em nós. Todos nos arrependemos SEM culpa de escolhas que fizemos, pois essas escolhas ao mesmo tempo em que nos afastaram de amores e sorrisos nos levaram a viver momentos maravilhosos que valem ser lembrados. Ah, eu amo Minmei e espero que em algum lugar ela tenha encontrado a paz e amor que lhe foi tirado na busca por seus sonhos.

Definitely this version is my remix work. Not the original. The original complete version has never been released on any CD. So I just tried to edit that song one day and uploaded it here. I'm quite satisfied with this version. Thanks to the modern technology and PC audio editing tools. 😊 But just as I said, I think that the remixed result of the song Heavy Metal L-Gaim OP2「風のノー・リプライ」 is a lot better than this song. I'm just so surprised that there're so lot of people love this song that much.😆

This version was originally came from the OVA フラッシュバック 2012 (You can still find it on KZfaq - The Super Dimension Fortress Macross: Flash Back 2012 ; there was a surprise at the end of the song). The ED for TV finale episode is in here (KZfaq - 超時空要塞マクロス最終回 ED) and also here (KZfaq - 超時空要塞マクロス　リンミンメイの星のささやき), you may want to hear this program which mimicked Macross shipboard internal broadcast, quite interesting.

But you can never find a complete version. The official one has never been released. This is why I did it myself. This version is my remixed works. I first took the vocal parts of the 2 songs and put them all together in one. The result of our modern technology.😄

你提起TV版...我就想起當年係亞視醒目仔時間播這套片的，有一種香港的習慣我非常不喜歡🙄，電視台為了迎合本地較年幼觀眾的情況，把這套劇的人物名字都改成了香港地道的姓名，像原本的一条輝，改成了馬姓，叫馬輝。😳我明白如果香港年輕的孩子如聽到有人的姓氏是「一条」會成為笑話。😂但大家應明白，如果想讓日本的孩子看「三國演義」動畫，是否應把「劉備」改為「豐臣備」來迎合年幼的觀眾？🤣🤣

吓，網上大把，獨唱版本本身出過唱片，只不過成首歌只唱了一段: ランナー -リンミンメイ・バージョン-，完整的版本好像説因為唱片有合約或版權的問題，最終無release過在任何唱片中。樓上不是有人問嗎? 他上次向我提過，如果有天這裡訂閱人數超過3千人，能否叫我用混音技術將殘缺的歌段, 製作成一個完美的合唱延長版本嗎? (我明白許多人希望聽到飯島小姐在原曲有多一個verse，聽到她唱不同的歌詞。) 我算是答應了，不過目前人數一直唔升，我其實已製作了一個測試版本，暫時留給自己聽下算了。 😛
