Take the psp versions and port with high resolution graphics like MDYRL with movie. Was done by same studio that made the 3 psp games. Ps2 game still the best after all these years from sega

Everyone wondering when this will be released in the US. It probably will not. Why? Harmony Gold Entertainment. I might be wrong, as I have not paid much attention to this for awhile, but they own Robotech, which is a huge kerfuffle of a situation of who own the rights of Macross. As a result, we have no Macross in the West outside of certain avenues.

Harmony Gold doesn't own macross anymore, it was released to someone else a while back here, if you followed the Macross page on Twitter/X it already stated the game was coming to the states after release.

Do the characters have to yell "How's this?" or "Launch!" EVERYTIME they fires missiles? How annoying. Haven't developers figured out that repetitive sounds and call outs are not welcome?

They currently changed the western release stuff to TBD. If it does come, it’s slated for Switch, PS4, PS5 and Steam. - Danny

Creo que un Shoot'em up como este no debería pedir 32GB de RAM "recomendado" y el "mínimo" 16GB de RAM, lo encuentro absurdo, creo que ahí se cayeron, esto no creo que ni las consolas portátiles lo corran, habrá que probar... este juego no esta nada de optimizado. Cada vez más se cae la saga Macross... Saludos.

Espero que tengas alguno de las consolas del pasado. Esos si en serio valen la pena. Ni veas esto que hacen ahora que practicamente es crear juegos por obligación o sin pasión. Los mejores juegos que he jugado son el Macross Digital Mission VF-X2 y Macross Plus de PSOne, el Macross de PS2, el Macross Ace Frontier de PSP y el Macross 30 Ginga Wo Tsunagu Utagoe de PS3.

It def seems more like an arcade/casual game and not meant to be a main entry title 🤷🏾♂️. IMO it looks pretty cool for the different macros shmup games

Oh, wow, this looks... really bad. Twin stick Battroid stages and SHMUP Fighter stages. No transformations, no Gerwalk. Combat looks slow and unexciting. How, how do they manage to make SHMUP look slow and yet, you can't get full blown missle volley without enemies escaping at the bottom of screen? And as a cherry on top VN segments - oh man, I am so tired of these. I mean, I understand the budget was probably tight (since all actions in battle seem to have only 1 line attached to them...), but at this point I'd rather there was no story than "we've made up some bullshit that allows all those characters to be in one place, now read as we'll talk about it for 20min without ever getting to the point" kind of VN segments.

Unfortunately, no. This version only offers the game menus, text and character names in Japanese. With the upcoming localization, I’m not completely sure, but I would be they would stick with Japanese names to avoid any trouble. - Danny
