We made some mistakes in defence today. Gray, Byram, and Struijk. They were great going forward though and more than made up for their errors. At times in the second half, we started to look tired and lacked concentration. I thought some changes could have been made earlier. Great game. Total anarchy in the first 7 minutes. 20 shots and 6 on target. We could do better here too. Rutter wasted a few golden opportunities. Glad we won though and what a cracking game. MOT.

There aren't huge holes, there's just a huge hole in goal. A decent GK saves both goals. The first is ridiculous, he's covering his near post and it goes straight through him. The second his positioning is terrible, if he's stood in the centre of his goal he saves it. He has the second worst save % in the league. He's been a millstone for 3 seasons now. Terrible goalkeeper.

Ampadu is getting tired. He needs a rest. We have Djed Spence back so let's start him and move young Gray back to the middle and give Ampadu some rest as well. Then we'll rest Gray and play Ampadu and rotate the middle with Kamara to ensure everyone gets some rest.

He's been consistently fantastic, which games are you watching? Just his finishing has been poor. Our front 4 are probably the best in the league, and they complement each other really well. That isn't where the problem is. Ampadu has dropped off and our defence are average, and our GK is poor. @@granth1238

Biggest surprise for me is that there was not a single goal in the 2nd Half. It was like the football God that hands out goals only gave us 5 to share for this game and it was our fault for using them all up so stupidly fast.

James will never be fit to lace Pablos boots. He just sprints up and down the pitch. Pablo was a genius on the ball. I'll give you that he has improved, but can't see him get anywhere near Pablos skill level.

10 minutes is always extended highlights. Normal highlights are 2-4 minutes

Bullsh*t! Only in the last few seasons have 10 minute highlights become a norm. We used to get anything from 15-30. And most of the 'highlights' we get now are mostly just goals and their celebrations, endless replays and shots of the managers. Matches these days go on for 100 mins and they have the gall to show 10% and state that it is 'extended.' @@tllightning12

As a Leeds fan I am watching closely Southampton coming up on the inside rail, a very dark horse, quite worrying in some ways we are a bit shaky but mostly manage to beat what’s put in front of us. The January transfer window could have a bearing. Middlesbrough are a good team all the same, respect to them, they came to compete and beat us and very nearly did.

@@mikeman584Only thing with Saints is we have Sulemana and Stewart now injured until January so we're going to be heavily reliant on Armstrong to keep his form up until we get to the window. Our next best goalscorer is Smallbone with 3. I do think our defence and midfield generally are performing a bit better than Leeds though. Our attack is nowhere near as good as yours but Martin has largely sorted out the defensive frailties we had in the first 6 games.

This game could have gone either way. Both teams squandered chances. Farke needs to get a grip of the defence, that's the worst defending i've seen for ages. As good as Rutter is, he missed a couple of easy opportunities to kill this game.
