The man who lost everything became mad with rage and thirsty for revenge. He lost his wife and child to gang members. Once they were gone, he became Mad Max. A man with only two instincts: Survive and Vengeance.

He is the anti christos. And the biker gang is the Abrahamics. Because the Bible says the Beast will have power over the saints and destroy them. And Mad Max should be coming any minute. That is why all governments are being demonized and will be taken down.

The first move was about Max losing his humanity. The Road Warrior was about him regaining it. That could have been the entire Max Rockantansy saga. Beyond the Thunderdome was basically a loose re-telling of Road Warrior, and Fury Road has very little to do with the prior films at all.

Same, as Max is running down the road towards his wife and kid, the music, just hits a lot harder now that I'm older, and as a father myself. This movie left a lasting impression, the gritty realism is what really stuck with me even watching it as a youngster.

"My life fades. The vision dims. All that remains are memories. I remember a time of chaos, ruined dreams, this wasted land. But most of all, I remember the road warrior, the man we called Max. To understand who he was we have to go back to the other time, when the world was powered by the black fuel and the desert sprouted great cities of pipe and steel - gone now, swept away. For reasons long forgotten two mighty warrior tribes went to war and touched off a blaze which engulfed them all. Without fuel they were nothing. They'd built a house of straw. The thundering machines sputtered and stopped. Their leaders talked and talked and talked, but nothing could stem the avalanche. Their world crumbled. Cities exploded - a whirlwind of looting, a firestorm of fear. Men began to feed on men. On the roads it was a white-line nightmare. Only those mobile enough to scavenge, brutal enough to pillage would survive. The gangs took over the highways, ready to wage war for a tank of juice, and in this maelstrom of decay ordinary men were battered and smashed - men like Max, the warrior Max. In the roar of an engine, he lost everything and became a shell of a man, a burnt-out desolate man, a man haunted by the demons of his past, a man who wandered out into the wasteland. And it was here, in this blighted place, that he learned to live again." --Opening Monologue, Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior

I believe George Miller was an ER doctor, so you know the dialogue between the doctors was written by somebody familiar with that language. If Jessie just had a flail chest and internal injuries, and the doctor thought she was salvageable, how do we know she didn't survive?

Atores convincentes, enredo sensacional.

3:00 Always loved that part when he almost got into shock at closer look of whats left of his family. The audience dont see it but is enought for him to break apart in that moment, then he stil pushed himself to still try to save them. So much said with no words in a few seconds of acting. I dont care what they say, he might be a jerk but Mel gibson is great actor.

First Max Max is the most civilized one. We can see police forces and a hospital which could some form of still settled society after apocalypse. Also, we can see some greenery through forests and a farm. And for the end, Max is sitting near the ocean, sometihng odd comparing to other areas in the Wasteland. Later sequels were placed in lifeless deserted areas.
