Nico Minoru is here, and she might be one of the most fun cards in the history of Marvel Snap. It's super enjoyable to get a different effect every turn and try to line up the best ones for a given game.

Power Estimate: Thanos Control is a really good archetype in general right now, but I cut Alioth and added Nico Minoru to maximize fun, and it definitely seems to have made this particular list struggle a bit more. I think Nico will be an okay card at worst, but I'm waiting for more data to see how she'll make an impact at the top of the meta.

I predicted it when I first saw Nico, and I stand by it, I think she's gonna work the best in destroy lists. Good synergies, and she herself is good fodder to be destroyed.

I've been using her in regular destroy and she is being great, testing her now on phoenix force deck, as most of her effects are also amazing on that deck

She feels awkward in PF tbh I had leaned more toward the Loki/bounce side and been having a blast! She’s def fun has lots of littles niches that can help propel a decks momentum! All in all I feel like she’s gonna land in either a pure destroy or a Loki deck.

She’s most at home in Thanos and destroy because you can get use out of her most of her spells so you can use them for cool little things in each game instead of her sitting in your hand for a niche combo.

Nico is honestly my favorite card! I love her so much! I made a deck that aims to get value out of all of her effects (besides the movement one that ones bad) and use beast and falcon to bounce her back into my hand! It’s super cool!

She feels great in a pheonix move deck! She can be your move, buff, or destroy, the draw 2 on the destroy is also really great to increase the chance of drawing phoenix early to start moving the multiple man or human torch

Personally I feel like Nico is more of a last card to the deck. She gives the deck randomness that your opponent can't play around. There will be many highlights, but she will be an after tought.

Agreed, although I wonder if she might work in some decks in conquest? I think her random powers might get you some 4/8 cube wins the opponent won't see coming. The question is just whether that's worth losing a card that's a more obvious fit

It was a little late but you could play Niko’s location change spell into Knowhere to open a board up as well. I bet there could be some really cool plays with that ability

*WARNING* Nico currently has a glitch with her "Pop Draw 2" spell and its interaction with Deadpool! I have tested it multiple times. It will crash you out of your match after Deadpool is destroyed. You can reconnect and restore the match state but be aware! I am playing Nico in a DeadZola shell and she honestly feels great. You replace Nova with Nico and more times then not she acts as a better Forge.

I would use her in a collector/ loki deck. You get a variety of different cards that works with it

25:19 if you play nico right and then soul stone left will it change left? i'm not sure where nico's on reveal happens in that case and whether or not knowhere turns it off.

Been trying her on my multiple guy deck instead of forge, felt nice but I don't have phoenix force Wich would make the combos a lot better (pretty sure the demon counts as kill for the phoenix)

26:00 I could be wrong but I think that Nico could have gotten rid of Knowhere here. The location change is tied to the second card and I don't believe it's an On Reveal itself so I think it would swap it?

at 4:35 wouldn't soul stone be better instead of time stone since its the final turn. IK hindsight is 20/20 but I'm curious if I am missing something.

They're both 3 in the current board state, because Time Stone draws a card to keep your Dinosaur big, while Soul Stone no longer draws a card. There are probably arguments for both of them from there.

Her home (at least one of them) is Bounce. Second Elsa, destroy Hood draw 2, 14 or 20 power Nico... the sky is the limit.

Oh she works way different than I thought. I thought every turn a new spell would be cast and it would just keep switching every turn. Didn’t expect you can only use 1 spell in a match

Well not really broken just different and riskier. Turn 5 could make your next card a demon and then another bad effect could happen & ruin your turn 6 play. I just thought she'd be more unpredictable like that.@@coolshirtkid

@@coolshirtkidnot really.. you are still kinda forced to use it on that location.. 3 cards would benefit and thats it.. unless you have move cards that can benefit the most but any other deck would have a max of 3 card buffed

*sigh* i know I'll get there eventually, but it's so difficult getting new cards that matter it feels like. I'm 1618, idk if that's high or low, playing daily. Don't have Jeff, Zabu, Thanos, Ironlad, Alioth, Hela, Ultron.. None of these i keep getting just smacked around by in Conquest and normal rank. Struggling to get past 60 running a whole assortment of decks x_x

Try to save caches and go for a specific archetype you like, I was able to reach infinite twice playing just plain pool 1,2 Kazoo, then i transitioned to Thanos Kazoo which is not the best archetype but I feel I can pilot it pretty efficiently most of the time, the only archetype I would avoid is discard because the card synergies dont go beyond their purpose on a discard deck, aside from that you have a lot of options to work with and learn, maybe bounce, destroy, some type of kazoo, all these archetypes are flexible enough to work with a limited collection while still being pretty competitive and also you maximize your resources since its possible to combine them to some degree.

@@Danexer Yea, right now I'm running a mix of Elsa deck, Loki+Collector and DD, and DD Destroy deck with and Enchantress and Chavez. Had degrees of success with the DD Destroy more than most.

… Jeff is a staple in Thanos and in prof x scamming. And iron lad is unique in his reach ability with a nice stat line, kinda hard to seek replacements for this style of Thanos unfortunately… I mean you can put in Silk for Jeff? And idek for Iron lad tbh. I’d say experiment with what you feel is right depending on what your facing the most at that current moment but Chavez would be good for draw consistency 🤙🏽💯

@@kouseiiquizzes I don’t mind the NC just already at the mercy of Killmonger so there’s that but junbilee could work but just has such low power to pull down a power stone you know what I mean? Just have to have RNG on your side if that’s the case lol
