Why didn't they capture the villain? He was standing over Cassie's mom after he shot her holding a gun. When the "spider tribe's man" arrived the villain was literally holding a smoking gun... But they let him run away under his human strength... When they clearly could have stopped him with their "spider abilities". Captured him tied him up, Cassie could have still been born, then we would have gotten a different villain... A better villain

I read that the three girls are supposed to become the three Spider Women in the sequel. If you cast Sydney Sweeney, she should do some nude scenes like in "Anyone but You" which also came out this year. Instead, that character was supposed to be underaged while the actress is 27.

I've sometimes wondered why people keep going to these movies. Then I heard you dis Gods of Egypt, which I loved. Why do I love it when everyone says it's shite? When I was young, Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans, with Ray Harryhausen effects, were my favourite movies. So, while Wrath of the Titans and Gods of Egypt are far inferior to those classics in almost every way, I just like mythology, so I enjoyed them anyway. I think that's what's happening with Marvel/Sony movies. Audiences know the movie is second rate, but it's a second rate example of a genre they enjoy. It seems that Sony will make up for their losses with the Pepsi sponsorship.
