the first time I listened to this song it was during a period of my life in which I was very lost inside, I was feeling very empty and without a goal. That time, I cried like a fountain all throughout the song, shivering. The sheer power and nostalgia of the music and the chorus made me release so many negative emotions, tension, anger I didn't know I had accumulated. I am getting teary-eyed just remembering that one time. That's the power of music. On another note, the instrument you were saying is called vibraphone, though its not the instrument used in this track, which is the Rhodes piano. It was an electro-mechanical alternative to an acoustic piano, and you can sometimes mishearr it for a vibraphone because the principle is the same, you have a lil cute hammer who strikes its respective note for each note of the piano. The main difference is that the mechanism is so miniaturized that it does not have enough volume on its own, so it has to be put through amplifiers and speakers.
