Making the jump from ESPN NFL Sunday Night Football on the Genesis to this was incredible. Real ones know you run the prevent defense to block punts and field goals.

There are a whole bunch of players wearing #88 but I’ll cut the game some slack since it was the first Madden for the fifth generation consoles (PS1 & Sega Saturn).

At this point, Gameday was a better game. It continued with the 98 versions…and that’s what I miss about competition: We the consumers had options😊

i hated these early football and basketball games but others loved them sport games didnt become great until the hd era, the gameplay was terrible back then and it is now lol
