The thing I like most about Maddie is what seems to me to be her kind heart, sweet spirit and genuine appreciation for her fans. God bless you, Maddie :)

Wow. What a great thing to be on your way up and sing with Dad at a home town concert. I can only imagine the pride. Thanks to her parents for raising this great girl.

As an Iowan, this young lady will always have a career. That's kinda how we midwest people run things. NY, LA or Miami might be Trashdashian, paparazzi, celeb BS or political idiocy, but Iowa is just more realistic and appreciates true talent like this, even after the "show" ends.

Mrs. O i didnt say her dad was singing I thought it was cool that her dad is on stage with her ,I'm a singer too,,and was daddy's little girl,,that's a bond that's very special ,,obviously u don't read well or know what that's like to be close to us dad!! 😉

I love her and the way she sings her story songs! She is a delightful soul with a great heart and awesome parents. They have instilled good values in her and loved her so much that her heart is wide open! I so wish her well on this journey in her life! What a lovely breath of fresh air and authentic angelic gentleness in her! Bless her !!

Weather you win or not your very down to earth and I love your voice and determination. You go girl. Best wishes from a women that sang growing up and wishes she had done what your doing now. Maddi take it all the way and let nothing get in your way of your Beautful voice and living the life of happiness and joy. My daddy in Heaven and had been since I was 5 yrs old so it was really touching for me to see you on stage with your dad and loving him enough to honer him as you did. Big hugs and all my love to you as your journey begins.

Congratulations to you Maddie!! Wonderful performance on Am. Idol, your gift is so very real in music. This video with your Dad was my favorite, great guy! It all starts back home- and that support and love of family is so very important in any success. Wishing you the best going forward in your life! Keep your reality and honesty in musical genius A truly wonderful time in watching you perform. Hugs to you all there in Iowa! I lived there once, about the time you were born in late '90's. OMG!! This is the "EXACT IDENTICAL DOUBLE" of my late husband who passed away right beside me here at home while we were sitting here on the couch. Yes, Maddie Poppe's father is the double of my hubby. Freaked me out. It's sort of like My hubby was here to say hi to us. RIP baby. ALAMNF. XOXO

I JUST CAN'T QUIT LOOKING AT THIS BECAUSE MYSELF, AND OUR 2 GROWN KIDS SAY THIS MAN IS AN EXACT DOUBLE OF MY HUSBAND AND THEIR FATHER. AND THAT HE IS. MY HUSBAND OF 42 YEARS PASSED AWAY HERE AT HOME BESIDE ME ON THE COUCH ON MARCH 13, 2016. "TOTALLY, EXACT DOUBLE".

Madde, please watch yourself back in these videos. You've got to figure out what to do when you FEEL like saying "uuumm". You can change the umm thing. I used to do that till I saw myself on video....never again. BTW, you're amazing!

something learned by observation. friend in college went into TV - had similar issues and over the space of a couple of months with a speech and presence tutor, you'd never know it was the same guy... She's got a nice manner about her already, just fine tuning stuff for stage presence.

K Schallert that'll come with time... This is all very new and it has to be overwhelming to a point, but as good as she sings, I can Overlook some verbal pauses.

Wow I love it. Hey Maddie, I'm not a speech teacher but I did go to college. One of the first things we learned in that class was not to say "um" lol. Hey Danny Gans was in my speech class, he went on to Vegas and was a big singing star. You are already a big star in my opinion. Anyway keep up the great work.
