Made in China, one of the world's largest oil tankers tested

Күн бұрынOne of the world’s largest oil tankers, designed and made by the Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company, has started test operations in the Bohai Sea off China’s northeastern coast. With a tonnage of 308,000, the tanker's enormous capacity means it can store up to 2.2 million barrels of crude oil. Despite its size, the entire tanker requires a crew of fewer than 30 members, thanks to high levels of automatization on board.

It is a VLCC, hundreds of this kind of oil tankers have been built in other countries such as France, Japan, South Korea... This is absolutely not a technical prowess. Furthermore, CGTN should ask a feedback to shipping companies (Maersk or Euronav for example) and seafarers. Chinese ships are crappy.... Cheap for companies, nightmare for seafarers and disastrous for environment, this is the Chinese ship building deal!

Almost everything in India is from US and Europe , dettol , samsung , lenovo , xiomi etc . Even the TV channels Zee and Ten all of those . It is said to watch your own backyard before commenting on others . Most of the forest lands and farm lands are being sold to capitalist thus degrading more environment .

@@abdeenn3 What he said isn't wrong though. And already several shipyards in China has either filed or filing bankruptcies with the big 2 CSSC and CSIC are suffering from losses and looking to merge. It's not looking good at the moment. It's one thing to be optimistic. But it's also important to see the truths as they are. Without Chinese govt support and local demands, all these companies will fall like a house of cards.
