I absolutely love My Hoffman Boots. Great quality and great customer service.

The pole Climber 12" steel toe is one of the finest boots made. I haul steel, constantly climbing on sharp steel, chaining and working in mud and water. I have 4 pairs, two pairs currently have 5 yrs of wear and going strong. I wear them 365 days, 15-17*hrs a day.

Just bought a pair of these, wanted a similar style of PAC boot from the slightly more local, White's Boots in Spokane WA. but they discontinued them. I settled for the similar-looking but unknown Hoffman's, and I'm so glad I did. they are the most comfortable thing I've ever worn on my feets

And I complained about my sorels not be as good as my dads then someone explain to me the new business model but to honest I never heard of Hoffman boots. Because I live and grew up in Southern California and wasn’t much of hunter so …but now I’m really pursuing an outdoor lifestyle and this little clip has open my horizons looks like something I would love to purchase and the fact that these are American made is massive plus !! I have the Hoffman explorer boots for hunting and they are awesome!

Customer service was great to me. I even spoke to Tom Hoffman specifically about adapting some pac boots to the needs of the southeastern US. Had some custom ones made. They are amazing and everyone I spoke to there was nice.

I got my first pair in 2000 12” Thinsulate winter climbing boot had them rebuilt once just now replacing probably go with same boot except felt pack this time as I am in Michigan

Maybe mix titanium sockets for the cork spikes that would cut the weight down. But real men don't cry about heavy boots. LOL

Generally looks like Hoffman makes excellent well made boots. However the Pack boots only go up to 14 inches which I feel is too low to offer maximum protection to the wearer. Schnees offers a 16 inch tall version in their Pack boot models and will even make a taller 17 and 18 inches version if requested. This is something that Hoffman will not do. So as far as Pack Boots go Schnees and LL Bean are it for me!
